you can install non cloud software on them fairly easily. Or pay someone else to do it. Then take it anywhere.

Horrific customer service, I purchased a Z10 Pro directly from them and after 15 months the auto empty stopped working, after months of back and forth they agreed to repair it for free and then returned me a bricked (firmware broken) vacuum and have refused a refund based on it being out of warranty despite consumer law suggesting otherwise. Go to https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/dreame-technology to see all the nightmare experiences others have had. I've purchased a Eufy from JB Hi Fi because at least a brick and mortar store might follow Australian Consumer Laws.

    • That sucks mate. I've heard ok things about them.

They do have a https://dreame.com.au/ which means an Australian abn/acn is required. ACL.

15 months is shite effort for a 1k vacuum. It'd be expected to work for a couple of years at least. I've had a robot thats going for about 5 years, run almost daily.

Lodge a case with fair trading etc. These days margins are so low according to coles/woolies you just have to push back to get things done.

      • Yep lodged it all to fair trading etc. every reply from Dreame is them acting like only their warranty is what matters. It’s absolutely shocking, but as expected all the support is based overseas and they don’t give a shit.

        • So no joy from FT or ACCC?

What I meant was there is dreame.com.au .com.au domain requires them to have an abn/acn. Use that for FT/ACCC they should find 15 months for a $1000 electrical appliance failure is not acceptable and should be protected under ACL.

          Good luck.

  • I bought the dreame d10s plus on the Amazon big smile sale and the product was not good. Amazon did accept my return.

My Deebot Ecovacs vacuum from 2.5 years ago does a better job of cleaning than this did in terms of leaving things on the floor/corners.
To give credit to it, the obstacle avoidance was much better than my old vacuum given it does have a camera but I couldn't justify it since cleaning is the main job of the vacuum

  • Is the code expired?
