    When is apple launching iscreen?

  • On the edu store it's showing $3499

  • +2

Please add EPP store as well.

You get a further 5% if ordering for the first time and $100 for trading in a old TV.

If you combine it with the amex offer, it would bring it down to $1467.02.

    • added

    • What is the Amex offer, please?

      • Unfortunately just realised that the Amex offer has expired. It was spend $500 get $100 back at Samsung AU.

    • +1 for what the amex offer is, i couldnt find.

    • My guess is that this is through myamexshop, which excluded EPP or EDU stores.
      https://myamexshop.com.au/samsung/

  • Anyone else getting an error message when logging in to EDU store?

    • Fine for me.

How would this compare with the TCL C845?

    • Exactly what I'm curious about!

    • +1

Hardly any stock for the TCL, also priced over $1900 atm. I was waiting for the TCL to price drop but got this instead.
The TCL is definitely better ranked than the Samsung on RTings.com but Samsung might be a bit more reliable.

      • Was there another code/name for the C845 on rtings? I looked it up under c845 but didn’t find anything. Unless I’m blind 😂

        • No C845 reviews on RTings, I think it's not released in North America…

          • @pitiek: I think it is the QM8 in the US.

Anyway, I think I will hold off for the C855 which is about to be released.

The Samsung isn’t on my menu only because it doesn’t have dolby vision.

      • +1

The TCL is a VA panel and all model samsungs under 85" are IPS so better contrast/blacks with the TCL.

  • I bought this TV awhile ago for $2400 and thought that was cheap. Bargain

    Awesome TV

  • OOS

    • Just check back in the arvo, or the next day - they often release more stock as they go. Found that out on Wednesday arvo but bought mine yesterday as they had stock again.

  • God I wish I had access to this deal. Great TV

  • Shows out of stock on EPP

  • how much for 85" ?

    • $2999.40

    • The QN85C is sold out on the Edu store. But is marked at $2999

  • Damn, got this for like $2050 in December. I'd like to think I got $300 worth these last few months.

Heads up that it doesn't have Dolby Vision but I think it's a great TV nevertheless.

Luckily the Kayo app also supports 4K because the Firestick doesn't do it.

  • all gone

  • Wish I got this sweet deal!!

  • Own the 65 inch of this model, got it for $1800, great unit.
I think the 75 inch at this price is incredible value for Money.

  • +1

Banging deal, I got the 65" qn85b for $1400. The 75"s extra size is well worth it (if you have the space for it)

  • Dang come on 85”

    • 85" is back in stock - around $2999 i think

  • Back in stock - get in quick - they may only be doing a few each day by the looks

    • +1

Know any tricks to find out if theyre in stock or is it just luck checking at the time?

Iv been reloading every few hours haha.

      • nah sorry, I just logged on and checked this morning

      • +1

        I live chatted with Samsung - this is what they said;

        Thank you for your interest.
At this time, it is still being worked on for re-stocking. Replenishment happens randomly and sometimes may take hours or even days. You may need to check in with us again at a later date for stock availability.
As the replenishment is random, we do not have visibility on this sorry.

    OOS again

  • Currently in stock, be quick

Looks like its come back in stock around 6am the past 2 days.

    • We've also had reports where its been later on in the day so it could just be random. It's been a frustrating experience as I am sure I am now the only one that's been updating the page everyday. Samsung online team are no help either as they provide very generic answers without providing much resolution. They even say to register for the stock alerts which clearly doesn't work as they sell out again in minutes!

      • +1

Yeah im just saying, past 2 days there was stock at 6am so thats a good time to set an alarm to try haha.

I was waiting for stock alerts too haha, then saw comments here and realised that it wasnt working and useless.

        Goodluck!

        • +1

So I guess there's no point in checking throughout today ahahaha!

And thank you! Been checking regularly over the past few days without any luck at all. Even tried to speak to Samsung who are basically hopeless.

          • @mastermik3y: I was checking what felt like every 5 minutes over the weekend haha.

I was lucky my kid woke me up early and i was able to get one at 6am.

I tried to get samsung to do an out of warranty replacement (5 year old tv, cost 3k) and they told me they couldnt help.
If this wasnt such a good deal, i wouldnt of bought another samsung haha.

            • @amityaaron: I even checked at around 4-5am today as nature called but it was showing the usual OOS message. Samsung recommended an alternative model which was around $4000 more expensive haha hopeless!

  • Yesterday I missed out with it in cart as they wouldn't deliver to my postcode. Samsung seem very select about postcodes for delivery! There were 7 sold at the time, so I'm guessing they only just about 10 a day. This time i prefilled address and made sure delivery was ok. Good luck those trying!
Samsung also confirmed that as long as it says ' get stock notification' they are planning on restocking.

    • How do you know there were 7 sold at the time? I swear it feels like there's only 1-2 a day considering how long it's back in stock for

      • Sorry not sure exactly, somewhere there was one of those 'x number sold in the last hour' or similar.

Edit: found it on another product, it is under the buy now button on the product page.
'7 customer(s) purchased this product today'.

Oddly that's exactly this product number sold as well (galaxy s24 ultra)…

        • Thanks for letting me know and yes that's very odd.

  • Anyone know how picky the driver is with trade up tv? I picked the wrong size. Samsung says cancel the order and order another (as if).

    • +1

I guess you will find out on the day haha.

      How different are the sizes?

    • The amount is always $100 no matter the size, so logic says it won't matter…. but logic is rarely involved with these processes!

    • I am now in the same boat as this haha.

I listed that the device for pickup was a samsung 65".
I decided to hold onto this and take them to the tribunal for a warranty claim.

So now, i will be giving the driver a TV that wont fit the description haha…

According to the website, it says "On delivery of your new device, our delivery team will compare the old product provided against the instructions received at the time that the transaction took place. If it does not match the description provided, our delivery team reserves the right to NOT collect the old product."

My pickup day is thursday so ill let you know what happens haha.

Woke up early today at 6am and refreshed the page endlessly. Unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough as it was still showing OOS. Now it's time to make an extra strong coffee. Thank you Samsung.

Got another one at 6.10am :)

      • +1

Somehow I don't believe you and even so thanks for rubbing it in!

        • Just letting you know to be patient. It randomly shows up. Don’t give up. :)

Maybe people cancel their order and they show up. Not sure

    • I saw them about 10ish past 6 when i got one, and was looking from 6. So frustrating for sure. I'm guessing they do this so as not to invoke price match issues for the retailers.

    • Back in stock on Gov portal, if you didn't get one.

  • No longer for sale on the website.

    • +1

Yep, it changed last night at around 12:30am to 'Not for sale'. Oh well, waiting for the next 75 inch TV deal! Congrats to the ones who managed to snare this good TV at a great price!

  • +1

QA75QN85CAWXXY back in stock on Samsung Gov portal. Not sure about EDU.

    • +1

It was for a second and when i clicked into it - out of stock

      • +1

EDU store is currently showing back in stock for $1749.50!

As someone previously has mentioned try asking online chat for either a 15% or 10% code and this is a massive bargain as delivery is also for free and TGG charge $55 for delivery! I am now feeling like I have missed out on a great deal as I recently purchased it through TGG for $1880 including delivery but oh well still very happy with the TV.

        • +1

Pretty sure these codes dont work for EDU or GOV because these portals are already heavily discounted.

I have tried asking for a code for the EDU store after they knocked back my warranty claim and they this is what they told me.

          • +1

@amityaaron: You're right I've just tried and I was given a 15% off code but only works on the normal Samsung page not the EDU page. Still works out to be cheaper than TGG and it's free delivery. Works out to be $1,695.75. So anyone who's interested just chat to Samsung online and ask a 15% discount code. I was given one within minutes. Hopefully this helps a few others out there.

            • @mastermik3y: Damn, oldmate “Miggy” on chat only offering me 10% :(

              • +1

@seamer: Did old mate ask you for any details first? Also did you ask for any discount codes or did you ask for the 15% one specifically?

With the agent I was chatting to I did ask for the 15% code off the bat and then I was asked for my full name and address so I don't know if he was asking this to check their database to see if I had any other Samsung products which I do.

I would say maybe try again? I was chatting to them directly via the Samsung Shop app on my mobile phone.

                Good luck!
