New TV 32-40"

  I'll plug Kogan here for a second. I bought one of their 55" 3D Full HD LCD's for $800; and have been really impressed. I have only had it for a couple of weeks - but it works quite well (so far!)

  2 issues with my TV that I'll call out:
  * PVR will only work when the TV is on TV input (i.e. I cannot switch to PC and have it continue to record)
  * Speakers are bit on the tinny side (not a real issue, as I play it all through a 5.1 amp)

  I know that is a lot more than you're planning on paying - and you'd get a smaller model (if anything); but I have been impressed thus far.

    i got a medion from esold for $199+17 delivered to wa. hasnt arrived yet so not sure on how it goes

      Did they give you a random message with a damaged batch? I am starting to believe they are just stringing me along. On the 16th of June somebody else received the same message (damaged batch) but his TV was delivered relatively soon afterwards. Either they have bad luck (2 damaged batches in 15 days, hard to believe) or they are just ordering them after they sell them.

    Kogan seem to be sold out or presale atm (either that or closer to the $400 mark for 32"

  David Jones had the Palsonic 32" for $199 and 40" for $269 in store at the moment on clearance - there was certainly stock available in the Market Street store in Sydney when I looked at lunch time. If you have one nearby it might be worth popping in to take a look.
