    • Any time!

  • $61.55aud for 2x M9P and 2x M6, thanks.

I'm reluctant to spend too much on earphones because I tend to break them quickly enough, hopefully the M6s are up to the challenge :)

    • Received today, very quick :)

  • My M9s arrived yesterday. Pretty good first impression - they sound heaps better than the el cheapo UE200s, but harder to say at this point if I prefer them to my old UE400s/CX300s.

After seeing the comparison Junkee linked, I was expecting "low microphonics" with these, but cord noise seems just as high as the others earphones I've owned.

  • Mike from MEElec here again. Per so many of your requests, I've managed to work out a deal for our higher-end A151P, A161P, and M-Duo models exclusively for OzBargainers. It is posted here: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/118409

I bought a set of m9p's in an older bargain. Very disappointed with them. I find that they are hard to keep in and the sound is very thin. The left side is (has become) quieter than the right which is a problem a mate has with his set too.

I bought some Logitech UE300 (maybe? they were the most basic model) 5 for $15 w/ free postage and the sound is considerably better & most importantly they are comfortable.

    • +1

It sounds like you're not getting a good seal with the earphones. This is what's causing the tinny sound and lack of secure fit. Please try all of the different-sized eartips included with the earphones and make sure to insert the entire eartip fully into your ear canal. The correct eartip for your ear will not slip out and will provide a noticeable reduction in outside noise and a sort of "suction" feel when you gently try to pull it back out of your ear. We can provide additional fitment troubleshooting instructions if you contact our customer service department at [email protected]

If there is an issue with the unit itself, such as one side becoming quieter, you can also get them exchanged by emailing [email protected] with your order number.

      Thank you,

      • Thanks for the response, I certainly have no complaints about your customer service :)

Taking your advice onboard I tried again, but I think perhaps these just aren't suited to my ear shape. Can fit them properly so that they seal, but simply turning my head (combined with the stiff cables) means they fall out almost straight away.

As to warranty, a replacement unit is just about as useful as this set is, but its good to know at least that there is a warranty :)

        • Forgot to mention - you can also ask to switch to a different model when getting a warranty exchange so if something is bothering you about your current set just let us know. We typically can suggest an alternative if we can't find a fix.
