Hi all, I'm after an iron, it will be used daily to iron my work uniform. Looking for stores in SA and preferably not on-line. I'm not sure what brand to lookout for/avoid. So far I've done some hunting, I have found the following;

I bought a Tefal Aquaspeed 170 model steam iron apx. 12 years ago & it still works wonderfully.(Big W )
Pros. - does everything it should do with different setting temperatures& switches itself off should you walk away for awhile whilst multi-tasking!
Cons.- Does need refilling with water quite often during a hard ironing process such as sheets or multiple garments.
Price then was apx. $59.00 - now would be more I would think.
I have also just purchased a steam garment cleaner/iron on line but have yet to try it out.It sounds as if it would be great for your work uniforms as it would eleviate the necessity of the iron.
