This is my first post so forgive me if i have posted incorrectly. I thought all you OzBargainers out there may not know of this web sight to search for unclaimed money held in Trusts, Superannuation, Shares or Bank Accounts that have been lost and unclaimed. I have been lucky to have found a handful of people i know with unclaimed money. Just type your name in the search, using all combinations of the way you use your name e.g. Henry Jone Lamb, H J Lamb, H Lamb, Henry J Lamb etc. There are billions of dollars out there just waiting to be claimed. Search for relatives, friends or whoever you know. Go for gold!

    Ha ha, yes. My thoughts exactly. It's even crossed my mind to try and contact people that have thousands of dollars unclaimed and welcome them with the great news but i suspect that they would take it as a scam and hang up.

      There are actually companies out there who do this…go through the registers, track down the people then let them know they have lost money (but not say where) and that for a fee they will help them claim it.

    Wow, I found my name with $1.30 amount from a Life Insurance Policy. Should I claim it? Is it worth it? Is there any fee involved in claiming this?

    I was able to track down some unclaimed insurance money from my late step father. I showed my mother and she followed through with a claim 4 months later providing documentation (license, death cetificate, marriage certificate etc) money was transferred. So definitely worth it if your patient
