I am still waiting for my Sony power bank from jb hifi..

    • +1

      Me too!!!

I got a email from them, looks like it is gonna be Mid December.

    • Same here. Waiting for mid December…..

      • wait, december?! santa comes in december, and i've never seen santa and jb hifi in the same room at the same time…..

    • +3

Do you remember? That time we were waiting for December…?

  • Hey rep, how do I choose which color I would like? Thanks!

Edit: never mind, I figured it out LOL.

  • Can we please get some more useful specs? The "6000mAh" capacity isn't very useful without an accompanying voltage… Watt Hours would be a better measure here, just like how laptop/phone batteries are normally measured.

    • Agreed. How many amps output can these put out per port?

Most modern devices need a decent amount of power to charge properly.

Hi there, the description has been updated, sorry for the inconveniences.

  • What are the dimensions for each.

The one picture that has a coin for sizing is not an Australian coin.

    • Hi there, for the 3000mAh, the dimensions are 81.7x80.4x5mm (at the thinnest), and for the 6000mAh, the dimensions are 82x80x9mm (at the thinnest)

    I jumped on the deal.

Great price for the device. Well reviewed on Amazon

Hopefully the seller is trustworthy, I've never used them before..

    • never seen a product so top rated on Amazon…….

a side note: look at the box and you'll see it's "Made In China"
not sure if DX selling the same factory made, if it is, then it's hell lot cheaper!

A google search for the Lepow Moonstone also shows various good reviews. Some on youtube too.

    • Good luck with batteries … from china. Not because the are made in china, but because of the shipping. Seems they are not shipping that easy anymore. Otherwise Products are ok.
Bought a 20'000 mah from DX and it does indeed lose 1/4 of capacity to load a 5000 mah device.

      • My lithium battery order was cancelled by Fasttech. They said the package was rejected because of aviation post issues. I tried to re-order but they advised me not to.

I would say there's a high probability of you not receiving the item well into next year.

        • Why next year? Do you think they will "ship" them, as in literally sending them by Ship ?

        • They won't 'ship' them at all… HK post is probably inundated with parcels near the end of the year and will likely go into 'strict mode' near holiday periods.
That means risky items such as batteries will probably be screened and returned to the sender.

        • If you try ordering the batteries with some non-battery items (like a cheap cable or two) included in the order, you may have much better luck.

      • The problem is if the lithium ion battery containing device is shipped from China and turns out to be faulty it's impossible to return. Australia Post has flat out refused to send some parcels of mine by air or sea if they contained such batteries. The risk of fire in the cargo hold should the batteries catch alight is simply too great. See the air crashes near Dubai and South Korea over the past few years. Ironically, it's still okay for the products to be shipped here…

        • They are no longer being shipped. Australia post is refusing LiIon batteries since last year. I remember I wanted to ship my mobile to my mother in Europe. Would have been possible without batteries. I still hope they let me in the aircraft with all the spare batteries to recharge my devices on my next flight overseas.

  • Can these also charge a PSVita? Sony's proprietary Vita charger is kind of expensive.

    • I bought one just for this reason, I'm hoping it works!

    • got it, doesn't work :(

  • 6000mha one sold out :(…

  • Rep anymore 6000 coming into stock?

  • Ebay has it and is cheaper http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/151134478163

    • 8 feedbacks? no thanks!

Did some research these are infact a popular Chinese brand charger, it's been translated into English obviously, utub mostly consists reviews of the Chinese version, the link above fom DX is alot cheaper, only prob is that white is the only colour avail, just purchase mine, i would expect to receive it alot faster than 2-4weeks than ops link, il post my review once received.

    • waiting for your review! :-)

  • Received my today. Packed well enough, got mine in the 6000mah and they sent the black colour.

Ill post a review later once its charged

  • Got mine too, ordered yellow got silver LOL. Doesn't work with VITA! I'm really sad, only got it for Vita. Guess I have a spare power bank lying around now. Would give it to my girlfriend if I had one.

    • The page did say:

      "Please note:
Colours will be sent out at random."

Despite offering a colour selection at checkout. I tried for green anyway but got black.

Pretty happy so far. Charged up without exploding. The build quality seems decent, however if i press at the front on top, it depresses into the body a bit. No big deal but still an issue.

  • Just recieved mine from dx works like a charm, so muh cheaper than those scoopon sites.
