      why negative???

Reason: $294.50 for used iphone 4 is rip off.

Please link to a quantity of iP4 16GB iPhones with a 3 month warranty from Apple, that are being offered at a lower price. Otherwise your Neg vote is not valid. (According to all those who neg my comments when I Neg because of perceived value).

        • This is actually below the market price.

Whether that represents good value or not is another matter.

I'm using an iPhone 4 while my HTC One is away for repairs and it is a laggy piece of crap. Wouldn't pay more than $80 for one.

    • +2

so is my 3GS, but what do you expect for 3 / 4 yo hardware when the OS keeps getting updated with more and more features…

      • +3

Exactly, that's why it's not worth anywhere near $300.

    • +1

well - I'd definitely buy one - even buy all there is for $80, if not for making profit only lol

its funny how people were paying more than $700 for it just a year ago.. and now people are valuing it at $80..

    • people are valuing it at $80..

Where can I buy one it good working order for $80 ?

    • I don't use iOS, but there are many reasons why people would buy old/refurbished iPhones.

If you got your hands on the latest model and gave the kids your old iPhone, and they broke theirs, would you go and get them a brand new one ($700 plus), or go for an old/refurbished one?

And so as not to repeat the drama of explaining to the kid why his/her iphone breaks again, would you go and get one from a private seller, or from a shop and have a peace of mind?

Yes, $300 for a dated phone is so not worth the money outside of context, but comparing with giving the kids your brand new iPhone and then getting another one again for yourself… it's probably the best alternative.

if your kids break their iphone 4, take it directly to the genius bar, worst scenario you pay ~$200 for a refurbished unit

      • +5

if they broke theirs, give them the Nokia 1100 and tell them start saving for their own iphone.

    • ok tell me where to buy for $100 (keep $20 profit), I'd buy 10 of them!

    • 2 updated models have been released since then. Duh. Pretty difficult concept eh..

      • It's actually 3 models since the 4… 4s, 5 & 5c/5s

spend a little bit more to get a new 32gb lumia 920?

i wouldn't do anyone the dis-service of giving away my iPhone 4 to them. That's why i use it as a paperweight. I also have a 3GS in a bottle of water after the battery smashed the case apart. It's cheaper to feed than a fish.

    • Since you bought an HTC in June, stating your iphone4 is broken, your point about YOUR phone is understandable, but this post is about a working unit.

I wouldnt give any brand of non working phone to someone.

      • what are you, the NSA? :) I had two iPhone 4's, they both failed. The second one still technically works, but none of the buttons for volume or mute do. Also the wifi keeps dropping out. Also, just relax it was a joke.

      A true OzBargainer.

  • Price might not be the best, but bagging the phone is pointless

    I would get a Nexus 4 for around same price $299 https://play.google.com/store/devices/details/Nexus_4_16GB?i…
