Best way to receive OzBargain posts?

Hey guys, I really love OzBargain. However, I don't like needing to always refresh the OzBargain homepage every few minutes. I'm mainly interested in computing bargains.

Is there a way for me to receive a message when something I'd be interested in is posted? Is this the best way for me to receive information?

Thanks!

If you have the live tab open, and only select deals & forum posts, I find that is quite useful.

  • /Live

RSS style feed which auto updates, if you don't have your own RSS reader.

If so, use the RSS feeder link in the bottom right corner of the window.

  • You can go to Computing Category and click on "Subscribe". It would then send you an email right after someone posted a deal under that category.

  • RSS is pretty convenient, though email subscriptions are good too, but only if you check your email every few minutes (I personally don't :P)

  • Okay thanks.

I just subscribed to the 'computing' section.

How do I sign up for RSS?

    • Usually for deal-listing URLs on OzBargain, add /feed at the end would get the RSS version of it. For example the computing section:

You then need to use RSS readers — offline or online ones.

  • I don't understand how I'm supposed to sign up to the RSS feed?

I don't enjoying refreshing the OzBargain front page every five minutes to check for good deals. Is this the best way to monitor good deals: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/live

    Thanks!
