$125 - 3.5" Samsung 1TB (HD103UJ, SATA II, 7200rpm, 32MB Cache)

260

Edit: It seems that IT Estate sold out of the hard drives and have increased the price to $132 when they restocked :-(

Similar to the deal at 9289.com.au but no free shipping, but still the cheapest hard drive deal for 1tb 7200RPM 32MB hard drive at the moment.
Also the 9289.com.au deal is now SOLD OUT.
*This deal is really good to those whom live around the area of the shop, to save on shipping
*ITESTATE have a better warranty processing centre compared to 9289.com.au they will honor the full three years as opposed to the 1yr return to shop then return to the supplier.

  • Any idea on postage costs for IT Estate?
Their website is terrible … i.e. it contains no general information about shipping, nothing on the about us page.
I don't think many customers will be too keen to have to go through the whole shopping cart/purchase process to get an idea on whether the site has reasonable or highly inflated shipping prices.

  • Hey nice! Good deal given the 9289 deal is sold out, plus the fact that IT Estate is not too far form me so I can pick up for instant gratification :)
I've previously purchased the same HDD from them for use in a NAS, and with this deal now, I'm tempted to get another just to fill the empty bay in my NAS :P

  • How much is postage?

  • Well this is now officially the cheapest 1TB around. Still a bargain.

  • +1

Yeah I'd like to know postage costs before registering.

good work…but my experience with Samsung drives has always been crap :(

    • Not me - never had a problem with Samsung.

  • I don't think they post :(

  • They do post, bought from them before been great to deal with. I just ordered this hdd and external case and they charged me $15 freight.

  • "ITESTATE have a better warranty processing centre compared to 9289.com.au"

Where did you get this information from?

    • +1

From personal experience, I've been there before and have bought a 1TB HDD from them about 6 months ago, and I asked them about the warranty and what I should do if it ever stops working. They said bring it back here within 3 yrs to our warranty center. So i guess that's where i got the info from. I guess you can call the shop if you want to confirm, but I doubt they changed the returns policy in the last 6 months.

      • Ok, so ITEstate do the 3 years but where do you get that 9289 only do 1?

        • On their website:

          http://9289.com.au/index.php?main_page=shippinginfo

          "Warranty:

          1. All goods sold by 9289 come with a standard one-year back to base manufacturer warranty, it can only be shorter if a special note is mentioned about an item. Computer systems built by 9289 carry a standard one year parts and one year’s labour warranty (unless otherwise specified). This warranty is not transferable. The system warranty only covers the system unit; it does not extend to any peripheral components such as monitors, keyboard etc. All the peripheral components are covered by standard manufacturer warranty."
          • @mayocrewz: Where does it say ITESTATE offers a 3 year warranty?

  • I have a sus feeling the OP is internal ITESTATE staff.

    • I saw it yesterday, and I though I'd post it up. I never had an account so i signed up, and I didn't want to say that useless line that everyone says ,"This is my first post ………".

  • thanks for that mayocrewz, I live in that area dropping by later today :)

  • I doubt they would need to publicise this. Its going to get sold out pretty soon anyway…

  • I bought a lot of PC stuff at itestate before at their shops at North Rocks, good price always.

  • It seems this was a time-limited special promotion. I just checked the website and the price is now $132, not $125 :(

  • Edit: [deleted] major confusion on my part… /facepalm

  • Nope … unfortunately it's still showing up at $132 for me.
pbjabba, how do we get them for $125 and with free post?

    • Hey, sorry about that, apparently i can't read… I thought this was the 9289 deal, they were in stock a second ago but they are gone again now…
