  • The problem is that a car vac needs to be more powerful than a domestic one to be of much use, cheap 12v units seem to be the exact opposite :)

My experience is these vac sucks… or don't suck

      • Was gonna say the same thing, these dont work for what there intended purpose is for…

      • Have one, used for a couple of times, didn't really help

I cannot agree more, have one as well.. complete waste of money, can't even suck up a tissue in front of it..

      • I had one, a complete useless garbage when trying to clean the car seats/carpets…

tried it once…..then it broke down & won't work anymore

threw into rubbish bin straight away

    • I've got a little Dyson handheld vacuum. I think it's excellent, but it should be for the cost.
IMO, these little vacuums aren't even worth $10 considering the effort you have to go through to use them.

  • gimmick gadget, like many other gadgets in this price range.

Bought a brush and dustpan for $1.99 from bunnings and it does a better job than this vac.

  • get a proper portable vac that has a built-in battery. if you just need one for occasional use, a hoover hand-held from big w is satisfactory

  • My mouth can suck better
