  • Baby Booster Seat $19.99 ? you mean Baby Swing Tray Booster
    Car seat is $99.99

  • For those who may have the printed catalogue, the $98 'Baby booster seat' is neither safe nor lefal for use with babies. . Up until the age of 4 years they must be in a seat that has an inbuilt 5 point harness.

To their credit Aldi has fixed this fairly promptly today in their online catalogue.

  • I was gonna go to Costco for baby shopping - is this better than Costco ?

    • +1

Nope, once you work out the cost per unit it is more expensive, don't know about the quality but havent bothered trying since the current brands we use are good enough for us.

  • Goto Daiso. You'll find a bigger range if wipes. EVERYTHING is $2.50

  • How do the aldi baby wipes compare to the ones in Kmart that sell for $9 for 480?

    • Tried Kmart ones and they were too wet. Used to use Aldi wipes until one day I was bored and googled all the ingredients, got to one and found out it has been banned for use on babies in NZ and USA. Now use Dymples from Big W at 480 for $9, has been great.

      • What was the chemical? Are Dymples as thick as the Aldi ones in your opinion? Safe chemicals?

  • I got the same portable cot from Aldi for $49.95 last year but I think it's quite good and would consider getting a second one. Also the feeding shawls look like a great deal. Similar ones I saw today at Baby Bunting are around $40.

Anyone care to comment on the quality of the Aldi nappies? We've only used Huggies so far but are interested to try other brands.

    • The nappies felt quite cheap and the "velcro" bands to keep it shut were very stretchy. Couldn't seem to cope with much volumn, after testing a couple of brands Baby Love has become the preferred nappy, slightly more expensive but no leaks to clean up. Think its on sale at Woolworths for $24 a box, Toys R Us tend to have sales at $21 every 2-3 months.

  • used the nappies for the last 18months and they have never been a problem.
used all the other brands as well and for the price there is no big difference.
