  • Better to get the Seagate Backup Slim 2TB Model for $2.5 more as that is a 2TB 9.5mm drive and also not soldered like WDs and using non Standard / non Sata connectors HDD.

    • +1

for me never go back to Seagate, had really bad experience. 2 hard drives failed in the first 3 months. thank god I had a copy of my data.
may other people have different opinion

Its a Samsung Spinpoint Drive inside, but owned by Seagate. WD never failed for you and only Seagates failed ? Thats really skewed !

Anyways Seagate Deal is posted here :

    • That's a desktop HDD not portable. Got it for $79 from JB 2 months ago. Why is it so difficult for people to understand the difference between the desktop models and portable ones?

  • Price is $114.99 now, so expired as of now !

    • most likely yes, but I sill have one in my cart for $105 ;)

  • Might as well as got a 2TB Toshiba from DSE with a local warranty for $134 (I did).

  • Yeah~! Emailed Amazon when saw the post, and they refund the $15 difference from when I ordered the same drive from them 6 days ago.
    Thanks, OP.
