  • I just keep getting this message every time I try to submit my order:

Please note: Shipping rates have been updated based on your new "ship to" address. Please review then resubmit your order.

It just gives me this on infinite loop. Hope it's not actually charging my card each time.

    • I get the same, shipping comes in at $7.11 for the cheapest option.

      • +1

Ok success - rather than using the same address for shipping and billing, select from the dropdown list to use a different address and then just re-enter the same one. That seems to work.

        Thanks OP

        • Yep looks only Screen protectors are 99c

          1 x Case is around $6-7
2 x Case is $13 and so on

          but great discount thanks OP

        • Maybe it is by weight?

      • doesn't offer .99c postage for cases, only screen protectors it looks like.

    • yup same thing I think ozbargin has crashed their server…. Looking up my card now to see if I have ordered about 20 screen protectors instead of 2… LOL

  • Thanks op got a new screen protector

  • got an s3 protector for AUS$2.27 delivered.

  • +9

These are rubbish quality, a couple of users warned about the poor quality of these previously but I took a chance due to the cheap price last time and they were really rubbery texture that stops you easily using the touch screen especially if you use swipe motions for anything. They are also a PitA to get on without air pockets. Don't waste your money, buy another brand.

    • Have you tried the new dry-apply ones? I just noticed them on the site and ordered. Hopefully a better feel than the wet apply one that I currently have from this brand.

      • No tbh I haven't. I'll steer clear but thanks for the info.

    • -5

if you search on google, they have pretty good review, so we give it a try, thanks a lot OP, got 4 screen protector

      • +2

If you search on OzBargain you'll see some pretty bad reviews also but each to their own, I thought I should comment because like you I ignored somebody who told me they sucked only to find out for myself.

        • -6

So if there is 100 people and 10 of them give it bad review, 90 give a good review what do you think about the product? check the review on bigger world which is google, not just ozbargain.

If you want to brag about OZBARGAIN, the + vote will tell you whether this deal is good or not! and for FYI, most of wet screen protector is rubber feel. This is not STICKY screen protector

        • +1 not happy camp.

My N4 ones were scratched and badly cut. They did send me replacements but they were still bad, so I got meh and threw them away

    • Uhh it's meant to be rubbery because it cushions the screen somewhat from sharp impacts.before touch screens were popular all good screen protectors were thick and jelly like. This is a compromise between that and still working in touch screens. I like this type of screen protector but I fuse it's not for everyone because the texture/feel is a lot different from normal "contact"-like screen protectors.

    • +1

In my experience, the wet apply screen protectors are always like that (rubbery), I usually only use them on the back of devices.

Despite that, they generally protect better than the dry-applied screen protectors

But i think it's better to get the dry screen protectors ( I think they have them as well)

    • +1

Yup. If people weren't so lazy they could've found out for themselves. From the comments, Xtremeguard 'screen protectors' are pretty much thickened sticky tape. Suppose people are just suckers when they see high % offs and don't consider what they're really paying for.

  • +1

think these are great value for money, applying is hard takes, awhile to get use to however once u get use to it. its great. I never get air bubbles when i install these from macbook pro to samsung phones. Haziness does last awhile but after that its fine.

Customer service has been great as well. couple of orders were wrong but they re sent me it and gave me refund!

    • +45

That is the strangest use of commas and full stops that I've ever seen.

      • +12

I would. have, to! agree with, that?

      • +10

Maybe Christopher Walken in an Ozbargainer.

        • +1

Hahaha! It actually makes a lot of sense when read in Christopher Walken's voice!

  • Bought one for Nexus 5 for AUD 2.33, thanks OP.

    • +1

I'm on my 3rd set for the Nexus 5. Pro tip: You need to trim the top and bottom of them (for front and back). They are like 1mm too long for Nexus 5, and after a while of putting in and out of your pockets the corners start to lift up.

      • Thanks for the heads up. 5 months after buying the N5 I'm still using it with the screen cover that it came with. Bought this just cause it was cheap.

  • +1

$3.02 for full body protector for my G2 delivered :)

    Great Find OP

I had a full body cover from my razr , when i finally peeled it off yr later selling on gumtree the phone was brand new underneath. These protectors are fantastic

    • Did you order the AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile Versions or the Verizon version?

  • How do these compare to ebay ones from your personal experience? I could get 10 for $2, 3 for my Note 3.

    • +1

These are worth the money. I have one for my Note (1st Generation).

Initially they feel rubbery and sticky. But with use, the screen becomes smooth. I love it! I sure as hell will get another from the same company when I have to upgrade the phone.

      • Thanks! I'll give them a try

  • Thanks a lot OP, Bought a screen protector(Dry) and a case just for 3.99 inc shipping for my future Samsung galaxy note 3. Saved $16.98!

  • +2

    No Z1 :-(

  • Thank you OP. Bought 2 set of HTC one and Nexus 7 2013 screen guard. Better to buy 2 if the first shot is unsuccessful.

    • +1

you can peel it off and re apply by washing them. done it before haha

  • OP.. i ordered a ipad, iphone and blackberry screen protectors on the 25th of Jan 2014.. they still haven't arrive.. what is that go with that? this is the 2nd time.. first time i had to cancel it..

how is others experience with shipping and delivery? do you guys actually get the items?

    • Ordered 3 times - received them all fairly quickly.

      • Like I said I ordered both time.. Never got to me.. It says the items r shipped.. I checked the tracking no.. It cleared US but that's it.. Any comments op?

        • OP is not rep

        • rite.. newbie here…sorry anthonyzzz.. i will take it up with them..

  • thanks OP. ordered two for 4 bucks

  • Has anyone tried the DRY-install type of screen protector?
Will the Samsung S-Pen work over a screen protector?

    • +1
      1. dry is like normal clear screen protector.
      2. yes both wet n dry, except with the wet ones having rubber on doesn't feel nice.
  • I'm surprised there's none for the note 2

they have note 3, s4, s3 but no note 2

  • +1

I didn't use xtremeguard before and not sure about the quality… but I will go for screen protectors $1AUD for 3-5 on eBay Delivered instead of these ~$3AUD Delivered

Please don't neg me saying different brand and quality…

  • I got some of these last time. They applied pretty well, just don't squeegy too hard or the plastic will stretch.

I'm not a fan of these, but they do offer good protection - mine just didn't last very long. Not sure why. Got very smudgy and affected the quality of the screen.

But this is a good deal, OP.

  • Thanks OP got a new iPhone screen protector kit for $2

I am tempted to buy 10 and then sell them for $5 each…

  • +1

I gave up on plastic protectors. You can get tempered glass protectors on ebay for about the same price. Much more resistant to scratches and even has oleophobic coatings.

    • Does it add much weight on the phone? It is glass vs plastic right?

      • +1

was referring to the screen protector only. Weight is negligible.

  • ordered one thanks OP!

  • How do i get the .99c shipping?

It's not avialable in the shipping information drop down box.

    • You need to select "enter a different shipping address" then put in the same address (most of it will be copied then it will be a option)

      • It seems that if you get a case it adds ~$7.00

        • yeah I think you are right…. I tried to order 2 cases and 2 screen protectors and when I removed the case it was 0.99. With the case it was $7.11

So the case will be like $2 +7 shipping is 9 which means you save $5. I'd rather get one from a store in Australia where I can at least see if I like the feel of the case.

  • +1

after reading the replies…i would stick with $1 for 10 protectors from ebay lol.

  • FYI, seems like prices are in USD so break out those 28 degrees cards.

Doesn't say on the receipt if you paid via the website but if you go through paypal the currency type is USd

  • My order has shipped! Only 3 hours after I placed my order.

    • Same here, got the shipping email.

  • Will smudges and finger prints appear on these protectors?

    • Yes. Also please note that they are wet apply. Wet apply is not better or worse. But more care is needed for wet apply

  • +2

These are crap and are on 85-90% off every 2 weeks. Every few days someone posts a deal about these and so many fall for the trap. Mods don't care.

    • True, but the difference is the shipping cost, only 99c this time.

  • I bought a full body kit for a nexus 7 (2) for $5.49 delivered. After reading this I am worried it will be crap, but at least it won't break the bank.

  • Ordered a wet apply screen protector for my iPad which has a couple of scratches on the screen. Will be interesting to see how well it hides them. They are not really visible when the screen is on and looking straight at the screen but would still be nice if they can be reduced a little for a couple of bucks. If I understand correctly, wet apply protectors are better at masking scratches than dry apply?

  • +1

Not worth it, even at this price.

Similiar screen protectors included with $5 chinese phone cases.

Extremeshield is definitely one of the lower grade screen protectors.

Can definitely reccommend Illumishield, Skinomi, and the ones included with Otterbox cases.

But yeah, even at this price it's an awful screen protector.

  • I second what krisspy has said about Tempered Glass screen protectors. They kill pretty much every POS screen protector you've used before. At the price they're available for on Ebay, I'd score one of those. The last one I bought just recently was like $7 delivered, and it's been worth every cent.

  • just received mine - these are pretty crap quality imo….and you need to use water to apply it which is annoying as well….no where worth their RRP

    • Received mine yesterday and have not applied it as yet. Remember that you need to give it a few days before the haziness and bubbles go away.

Now that its a few days on since your comment, have you found the viewing quality is getting better?

  • Mine have arrived. I'm not very happy and if I had paid full price I would be really cross. They feel pretty crap and they were just shipped inside an envelope rather than with packaging. Reminds me of when I order stuff of eBay that comes from Hong Kong…

I didn't realise they were wet apply and I am worried about f**king it up. Can these be removed easily?
