Bought mine at Bunnings for additional 10% off Just Tools' price so end up paying just $278.10. Bunnings had them at $369.00.

Great unit, much better than those scrawny steam mops.

not sure this is much of a deal. purchased at good guys for $220 in Dec, without a very difficult negotiation.

Looking at the recent (16 Jan 2014) Choice review of steam mops, its little brother the SC3.000 was listed number 7 of the 23 in the What to Buy list, so not bad, especially at your price OP. Most in that list were within 2% of each others' scores.

  I agree. But at $278.10 price matched at Bunnings this is almost as cheap as it's entry level sc1.020 which is selling at $244.
  
  This unit is pretty much identical to the 3.000 except its heading time is 2 mins faster :)

I went to bunnnings@canberra, managed to get the price match, but needed to add the delivery cost during the calculation. I tried to argue but did not success, and ended up with $296.

I happened to did a price check of the exact product from Amazon european websites two days ago. The ex-VAT price was good, but the shipping ($70) makes it about A$280. With local warranty, the price till quite reasonable.
