NetGear D6300 Internet connection issues

Just purchased it today and set it up. The connection itself works fine, but connecting to the internet doesn't seem to work after more than 15 seconds (furthest I've got to is getting to the Netgear Genie page and going through a few of the steps before the internet drops out completely).

Has anyone else had this problem before with the D6300 and has a solution? I've attempted the 30/30/30 reset…but it doesn't appear to have worked.

All the LED lights are working except the internet one which is Amber coloured instead of Green.

    The amber light means there is an internet connection present, but the login details are incorrect.
    Double check the user name for the ISP - it could be "[email protected]", where ISP is the domain, or just "username".

    Being able to get to the Netgear Genie screen doesn't show it has an internet connection, either. Genie is the modem's settings page, which is available on the local network.

    Have you tried connecting from another device?

  • Well, I've tried again this morning and for some reason it's worked this time, managed to get into the Genie settings properly this time and actually connect…weird.
