I've been keeping an eye out for a good price on Diablo 3 reaper of souls and most of the recent posts have been hovering between $32-35. Did some digging around and found out that cdkeyshere.com are selling it for $25.99 USD. However they do charge a $0.65 USD paypal fee which brings the total to $26.64 USD. Using paypal to perform the currency conversion brought my total to $29.36 AUD.

All in all I think under $30 is a decent price. I'd never used cdkeyshere.com before but the transaction was hassle free. My account was updated with a picture of the cd key within minutes of payment and I was able to add it to my Battle.net account with no problems.

    Thanks! I was a bit iffy, but the transaction was quick and smooth. They send a security pin to your mobile, and after the transaction is complete, they link you to an image generated with the CD-Key (presumably to combat bots?). Upgraded immediately via BNet and all works fine.

    Pro tip for any overseas purchases using PayPal: Don't use PayPal for the currency conversion to AUD. Instead, you can choose to pay in the local currency and let your credit card company handle the currency conversion. Mine only cost $28.43, so it's not a huge difference, but the few % adds up, especially for larger purchases.

      Thanks for the tip. Is there something to click during the paypal checkout process to force it to use the local currency (in this case US$)? I'm probably used to going on autopilot and leaving it as default with most of my transactions but I'll definitely try it for my next overseas purchase.

      Yeah I was iffy too. I didn't like how they force you to create an account first. On top of that as you've mentioned they want to send an authentication sms to your mobile as part of the checkout process. I'm used to retailers allowing you to perform a direct checkout using paypal. However, having seen a few cdkeyshere.com deals posted here and seeing some good reviews on whirlpool made me feel confident enough to give it a shot.

          I ordered mine around 3hrs ago and still haven't received my key. I guess it must be night time where they are.

          I'm guessing they physically need to grab a box and take a picture of the key and send it to you?

          Ok have just received the key 1 min after last post.

          I can confirm that it is a photo of the box and the Key is EU region.

          Also, the writing on the box definitely wasn't in English or Latin characters. ;)

    Got to start of inferno stage in base Diablo 3 and got over it and didn't touch it again. Was just one big grind for crap loot and so repetitive. Will I like the expansion?

      New updates have added "Loot 2.0" which is far and away better than the old loot system. Legendary items (legs) are much more common.

      Honestly, probably not. It's still the same game, just better chance of loot dropping, and a better difficulty system (Torment 1-6, as opposed to just Inferno). It's still a huge grind, and as you get better gear, you slowly progress through Torment levels. There is the addition of Adventure mode, which is heaps better than replaying Campaign all the time, but it is still super repetitive. Same old bounties over and over, and after a while, the Rifts all start becoming the same too. I've put over 120hours into it since RoS launched, and I'm getting sick of it.

      Yeppers, the site reads: "Requires Diablo 3 main game in order to use." So buy the main game first, and once its installed you can then install the expansion.

I tried to buy the expansion from battle.net yesterday with money in my battle.net account balance but blizzard wouldn't let me because the money is in USD and battle.net will only let me pay in AUD.     But I couldn't be bothered at the time. Luckily this deal just came up so I just saved myself some money by buying the cdkey.

      I had the same concern. No idea what region the key is from but all I know is that the key was accepted in my Australian Battle.net account no VPN or fiddly things required.

      I just got my key, it was from a Russian version - EU region.
      Logged on to Battle.net, applied the code and it succeeded, then I noticed it didn't change my Diablo 3 game status (still just old edition.
      Logged out of Battle.net, logged in again and it showed the game as having updated and Reaper of Souls activated.

      No issues with regions, and no VPN required.

        Edit: Quickly checked the website again and it has gone to RoS! Just to let everyone know my key came instantly as well.

        I wouldn't say that… I bought D3 (base game) and it was instant. The pic was linked to the order as soon as the payment went through, so they obviously have a system in place to queue up keys/photos.
