Everyday Rewards Coupon Books

I heard tonight on another forum that Everyday Rewards have sent out targeted coupon books to selected members which have coupons for the next 6 weeks. So far the coupons I have heard about are for Woolworths supermarkets. I don't know if there are online coupon codes on them.

Have any OzBargain members received these coupons? What sort of coupons have you received? Do you believe the coupons are suited to your regular spending pattern? Have you figured out any creative ways of using the coupons.

Do you like receiving paper coupons? Would you prefer the offers loaded directly onto your card so you don't have to remember to bring the coupon along with you on the correct week?

The only non woolworths code I got was masters spend $150 get $25 off. It is valid from 28th April till 8th of June, says to use code SAVE25 online or present voucher instore.

The rest of them are % off individual products, spend $x online get $x off, spend $x get 750 FF points etc etc. They don't seem to relate to the kinda stuff I normally buy. Only the spend $x get $x off offers interest me.

spend $x get $x off is wrong. it's spend $x and get $y off :)

  • I got the book, and it is targetted for you to buy stuff you don't always buy at Woolworths or spend about $50 per week more than you normally spend. I usually accept just about every woolworths offer (got about $140 in discounts over easter), but I threw this book in the bin.

  • Sounds like Woolies are starting to do what Coles have been doing for a very long time with the coupons in the post.

  • Mine is pretty crapola, nothing that I care to buy from the coupons.Waste of paper in my case!

  • I got this booklet. It didnt wow me. Its still sitting at the bottom of the pile on my desk.

Are you sure you're not a rep. You sound like a Woolworths dude getting survey feedback, Plus trying to make sure Ozbargain isn't about to hand Woolies their nuts again.

    • I was curious about what coupons were out there and whether they were useful to the people who received them.

I love coupons and other loyalty program tricks to saving money on groceries. When I posted this thread I hadn't received any coupons and I was wondering how good the coupons out there were. I also enjoy stories of how other people combine coupons and other offers in order to make the most out of them.

Sorry if I seemed a bit pushy with the questions.

  • My partner ended up getting a coupon book. We hardly use his card however the targets for the weekly coupons were set way too high at $80. I've heard a few reports of the weekly totals being lower but we didn't get lucky.

The product coupons also had qualifying targets which were too high for our spending pattern.

So far we've only used the online coupon which had a $50 qualifying target.

  • Have needed to get a few things over the last couple of weeks… And this little code has come in soooooo handy!!!

  • I got a book, but my parents (who also have an Everyday Rewards card) didn't. They wondered why I got one and they didn't, even though they probably spend more at Safeway than I do.

There were a few offers I could use, but some were unreachable for me. I barely spend $30 on one shop and a lot of the coupons were for to spend $50. Another was spend $15 at the Deli and another was spend $15 at the Bakery. Again, I usually pick up one or two item, never anything really in the ballpark of $15 though.

  • I got the book and didn't manage to use any of the coupons. All expired now.
