Who has the worst/Best website in the retail industry?

Hey guys.

What are your thoughts on websites and who has the worst and who has the best for things like service, choice and price.

Personally my choice for worst is Kmart!

Kmart is still living in the dark ages when it comes to website layout, choice of products service and prices. When you speak to them they say "We offer the lowest prices everyday" Well that would be fine if you were like officeworks who check prices daily and change them accordingly but they never do so.

On my favourite site it has to be officeworks! Especially with their new layout. You can see which products are available at which stores, cheap prices and good, fast service. One thing missing from Officeworks though is one off sales.

  • I have found the Officeworks local stock availability to rarely be correct, at least for my local store. Not a bad website though.

Agree that Kmart is a crappy site. I also find the JBHifi site very clumsy to navigate and find stuff.

    • There's too much yellow on the JB website. When you view it on a 27" screen it's uncomfortably glarey. I know yellow is their colour but they need to use it in moderation.

  • Myer has improved but still not great. Couldn't work out how to look at their sale stuff today without having to sift through all the 'sold out' stuff…why show it if it's sold out.

Virtu (womens clothing) and M&S are pain free (and make you realise how crap their peers are). They also have great service to match the websites.

    Best website : Msy

    Worst website : Msy

  • Just googling it:

  • Looking at Lego at the moment. Toys R Us is pretty damn bad.
Oh and Surfstitch is a joke of a website, don't even bother trying to filter results because the page won't load.

  • Harvey norman is another crap site! Soo out dated and UGLY! Plus most of their prices don't reflect other retailers prices for example most other places sell Samsung galaxy s5 for $888 but Norman sells it for $929!

  • Big W is terrible, their stock levels are always wrong. Seriously, they should just get rid of the gimmicky feature if they can't handle it. Also the Rebel Sport's website reminds me of a child's colouring book.

I find the Kogan site quite annoying with all the like us on Facebook pop-ups, some person bought this, be quick x amount of views in the past 24hrs etc.

  • Dick smith sucks ****
