It's details how to use the Cheesy BBQ burger to get a Double Cheeseburger for $2.90 instead of $4.35.

According to the blog post to get a Double Cheeseburger order:

I don't really how adding a piece of bacon while removing a slice of cheese while upping the price by $1 is acceptable.

Well someone ought to inform the Maccas Corporation that they'd best fix their promotional pricing because Davo93 doesn't find it acceptable! The nerve of a business setting the prices for its own products!

Again, I don't see how this is any different from any other limited time pricing from any other type of business. Even more so for fast food, because with such reduced margins on the level of the $2 McDouble, they need to be moving in large numbers to make it worthwhile. If the popularity of the McDoubles remained high, I'm sure Maccas would've loved to keep it on the LCM. But obviously it didn't. And no, it's not called profiteering, it's called capitalism. Might want to look into it.

        • Didn't think my post would result in so many replies :-D

Quick food on the go used to be easy. 1 mcdouble or 2 if there was a larger hole to fill.

$3 for a bacon mcdouble leaves me feeling short changed (by about $1)

But what else can you get for around $2 that does the same job as a mcdbl?

        • Oops. Didn't read the op comments carefully. $2 for the cheesy burger does the trick. Not sure how long that deal will last tho

        • How can people feel filled on this stuff? I'd have to eat something like 7 or more to come close to matching the fullness you feel from a home-cooked meal. Two would make me feel ILL enough to not want more, but that's a different reason.

        • Just to get me home.

        • Ah yes, have done that before.

Where can you get $1 cheeseburgers? Is it an advertised price on the list?

  • I'm "McLovin" this hilarious thread… a weird assortment of troll-like antagonists, FF-extremists/enthusiasts, a thinly veiled Maccas "under-cover agent" (lol), a few innocent (but evidently sometimes very hungry) vaguely normal civilians, etc. …
    This is very entertaining.
    Please carry on.
And whatever you do, DON'T ask me about the hacked version of the Hungry Jacks "shake and win" app'. Let me just say, never has the old "carny" catch-cry "everyone's a winner" been so true…

Ahahaha from the website on a fillet o fish hack: "I haven’t eaten a Filet O Fish in over 10 years, as I couldn’t afford it before this. However, this loophole tastes just like what I’ve been dreaming about for the last 10 years. It’s just like a cheeseburger but with the dry, cheap crumbed fish fillet with the tangy tackiness that only McDonald’s can master."

To save confusion, for 10c more, order a double beef and bacon, and remove the bacon.

Sell the bacon on eBay for 10c.

    • ID BUY THAT FOR A 10 CENTS!!!

That was horrible. It was like i asked my 14 year old self to recite the plot of War & Peace.
No mustard, barely any onion, they added McChicken Sauce, & forgot my ketchup.
