Anyone bought laptop from Kong Computers before?

Hi,

I'm after a Clevo laptop and noticed that Kong Computers (www.kongcomputers.com) sell them without transaction fees and free shipping compared to AffordableLaptops.

I've never come across Kong Computers before and I would like to hear from those who purchased from there before. Customer support? Ease to deal with?

Would really appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

    so they're on the northern beaches yet the unit ships from perth?

        Yes, all the laptops they sell are drop shipped from the manufacturer/distributor. That isn't a bad thing.

    Bought a Metabox W230SS from Kong Computers at the beginning of July, paid via EFT and just took the delivery yesterday. It took this long to deliver mainly because I asked Kong Computers to delay it as I was away until the 16th, otherwise I believe they could have it built and delivered in claimed 5 business days.

    • Good price when free-shipping is considered.
    • Drop-shipped from Metabox in Perth so yes they are just the middlemen.

    Kris from Kong Computers is a delight to deal with. Somehow he found out the order was related to OzBargain, asked me about it, and started posting some of his offers.
