Wow the response to this has been phenomenal - we're almost sold out. Another 25 kettles left till the sale ends! Thanks everyone who purchased

    • Hi rep
Just a question with the kettle and teapot in one - does the kettle have any plastic components internally?

  • Thanks Rep. Ordered one.

  • Was just about to order one but it's now gone back up to $100??

      That's not a valid reason for a neg…..

  • I purchased one of these. But I got a question.

How can you boil water at 40 degrees?

The best part of all this though is the programmable base with the ability to select your temperature. So if you don't need your water heated to 100 degrees, don't fret because you can choose to boil to a temperature of as low as 40 degrees!

    • 99.98 °C

      Water, Boiling point

40 degrees boiling could be achieved by adding impurities, maybe a lot of salt.

That would be a great idea…if salt didn't increase the boiling point of water.

    • Even at the top of Everest water still needs to get to 70 degrees to boil…

  • Very happy with mine so far.
Good to see someone delivering a good firmware/UI on an (small) appliance for once.

  • I'm kicking myself that I didn't jump on this, keep up the deals rep and I'll be sure to grab this one if it pops up again.

  • I bought one last month. It is 1500W. Not touch control but I think it is good enough. I hope it can last long.

Got mine a couple of days ago. It's pretty good. Boils fast and quiet. Looks good too and the temp led's showing the current temp as it heats up is a cool feature.

  • My missus love it, all fancy touch control and its a fair bit quieter than our last kettle, the beeping does sound like our dishwasher.

I think my mother want one now too…

  • Yeah Got mine too, it's slick and works pretty well, not so sure about that quiet boil tho
