    Only can get ice cream if car within your area. Otherwise shows unavailable against your pickup location on map when slider underneath is to left on ice cream.

    Now at 11:10 the ice cream option is gone.

      Tried using uber when F1 was on in Melbounre. The verification SMS came 3 hours after i reached home. They are pathetic when the demand goes up 1/2% beyond their capacity.

    servers seem overworked as confirmation SMS takes ages to get - once I did get it I was notified there were no limos in my area and hence the ice cream won't be arriving. So much hype for so much fail.

    Got one. A guy on a bicycle called me and met me on corner of George and King St (Sydney). Took him 2 mins to ridw down from King St. Handed over icecream and a beanie. GREAT DEAL!!!

      Was over in darlinghurst area and wasn't seem to be getting any luck. Hopped on the train to St. James and walked over the George / Pitt where most of the ice cream deliveries seems to be. Once I was in the vicinity of an "uber ice cream cone" around King and Pitt, I pressed request and the guy phoned me up, met me a minute later, and gave me my ice cream.

      Edit: Walked up George St. to Wynyard and saw 2 more people in Uber t-shirts riding on bikes and looking for the next delivery.

    The SMS verification is not working, but luckily i got one yesterday and it seemed to work but then it kicked me out.

    I got through then the app froze.

        I just turned off gps and set the pickup location to near my wife's work, and requested the ice cream. a couple of minutes later a driver profile showed up and I was able to call him, and told him my wife's address and he sent it there.

    I tried a few times it always said icecream demand off the chart. I found I already got charged by PayPal $1 three times for doing that. Imaging how many profits uber would make by charging $1 for numerous times from people around syd, mel and bne? ? Now I am wondering how to delete my PayPal info from this app??
