    I bought mine on sunday at 9:50am i would have thought i would have recieved it in todays batch since i ordered pretty early on…..
    still haven't received an email confirmation/ebay message that it has been shipped nor has it arrived at home

      The courier is startrack express so they won't leave it at the post office.

      If they had come you would have received 1. A delivery slip on your door or in your letterbox 2. An email from DSE saying your order is shipped or similar.

      So it's safe to say that the courier didn't come today :)

        Startrack Express always leaves my orders at the post office.

        They came today but noone was home. Got the little yellow notice to pick it up tomorrow.

    Ordered late sunday afternoon - arrived this morning.

    It has a label with recipient's name and address underneath the box, but the box itself is not packed, it's just the PS4 box for the world to see.

    Pretty impressed with speed of delivery.

        Anything is possible, but I think it might be that packaging it would take up too much time, and this way they can just fling it out to everyone in record speeds (before complaints start rolling in).

    Another person who received their console today here. I got an email early in the morning containing the invoice and another at around 2pm with delivery details. Checking them I was surprised to see it had already been attempted while I was out. No big deal, post office is 5 minutes away. Was worried about stock levels and delivery but it seems Dick pulled through.

          I was holding on buying this but got mine yesterday and it's amazing went straight to jbhifi and got them to price match wolfenstein for $47 and played that pretty much all night. The game selection is really limited right now but it's worth the $400.

    Did anyone who was having trouble with making a purchase because of a paypal error manage to resolve it?
    I am only experiencing this problem with Dick Smith.

      I had lots of issues with getting Paypal to work. The code only works for Australian Paypal accounts, so I had to create a new account on Sunday (using the same email address). This new account wasn't accepted, until I confirmed both my bank account and my credit card, which took a few days.

      No, I also had a problem (it's on page 2).
      TLDR: It just magically worked yesterday night after trying to resolve the problem since Sunday.

      I chatted online with eBay 3 times, emailed Paypal back and forth 6 or so times and contacted the Dicksmith store a couple times.
      It wasn't 'resolved' by any of them from what I got told. Paypal told me the payment was being blocked by their secure, automated protection system but could not give me any more information about it or how to get it to work.

      I did manage to order a PS4 last night and unbelievably got a shipping conf email today!

    Just adding my 2c here.. (I'm in Adelaide)

    • Sunday at about 11am ordered a PS4 + TLoU + 18.5" DickSmith TV to put in my boy's room for my old PS3.
    • Total cost was $577.36 including delivery. Immediately paid with PayPal. Had no issues with the process.
    • Monday arvo I received invoice/shipping notification for TLoU only. That was delivered yesterday morning.
    • Yesterday arvo I received invoice/shipping notification for the PS4. That was delivered this morning.
    • This arvo I received invoice for the TV, and I'm assuming shipping notification will come later this arvo.
    • And following this pattern, I should receive the TV tomorrow.

    Annoying that it didn't all get invoiced/delivered together as it was all bought in the same transaction, but meh.

    My PS4 arrived in Melbourne yesterday and status has yet to change from "In Transit" since being "shipped" from Sydney on Sunday.

      Mine was very accurate. I checked just before 5:40 this morning and there were no updates, and then at 6am seen it had been marked on board with driver for delivery at 5:45, it arrived just before lunch at work. Very impressed!

    Well, a bit of an update. My Tracking with Star track had this next to it - Held at StarTrack Location - Consignment not fit for delivery

    I called Star track and after a few calls with them it turns out the box was water damaged which requires them to send it back to Dick Smith. Unfortunately I've had to call Dick Smith as I needed to get them to confirm with Star Track that it was being returned due to Water Damage.

    I now have to wait until they receive the damaged unit, after which they will send another out. This whole process took about 1-2 Hours to sort out. Not too happy about that, hopefully no one else has had to deal with this :(

    The whole sending only the unit in it's original box with a consignment note doesn't seem to hold much protection for the unit.

    Ordered yesterday 10:20am - received today 2:45pm. Very quick shipping! Box comes as if you picked it up from the store. it just has a sticker at the bottom with your name and address. Also ps4 box is not sealed?? no sony sticker. is this the same for everyone?

    Received my invoice from dick smith yesterday and tracking as well. Tracking link was accurate.

          Spoke to Star Track before regarding the hold up on my order. Apparently my address was somehow linked to a neighbouring suburb and this may be holding things up. Not too sure if this is true given I ordered TLOU using the same address and that was delivered yesterday. Also sent an email off to Dick Smith to find out what's going on, yet to hear back from them. From my personal experience, really bad effort from Dick Smith in terms of communicating status order etc. I know this sale has been a huge undertaking for them, but things like this shouldn't happen. Not happy.

          After speaking with DS over the phone again, Ive had my order transferred to a physical store where I can simply go and pick the PS4 up. Apparently this transfer can take 48hrs so hopefully I can get the PS4 before the weekend.

    I am just curious did anyone else receive their PS4 in the PS4 box only (without additional packing) and not sealed. My box was open as in no tape or no Sony seal nothing. I jumped online and watched the unboxing to check if anything was missing and it looks like the 30 day trial codes leaflet is missing for Playstations plus and $10 PS store credit. Was i supposed to get one or is that for US only?
