          @mr kindface: Come on guys, e-nerf already…

        • @clarky:

the long-term effects of e-nerf have not yet been studied

        • Yep. There used to be a number of active NERF wargames happening around Australia a few years ago, however most of them have died off now.

        • No if i was racist id say Ompa-Lumpas make good coffee tables

      • Not for me. Granny flat.

      • An Oompa Loompa, or a Guido? It's hard to tell the difference.

  • No Xbox One Minecraft listed under Toys :(

I think this is a good deal for COD-AW but unsure if its legit.

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/191401032419

Comes to $46.38 after applying the code at checkout.

    • +9

Hold off from buying, i just purchased and got a really quick response email with the key.

However when i tried it in steam it says that it's been activated by another steam account. Sent an email response to the seller requesting a new one, will update when they get back to me.

      • Cheers man, will await ur update

        • +9

I've received a very quick response again from the seller with a new code and this time it worked fine. Downloading AW now.

          Good luck :)

        • +1

@callistus: thanks mate, will make the purchase now.

        • @kemitri: GreenManGaming is selling it for $50USD and they have 20% off code, but they are out of stock at the moment

        • @kemitri: I had no issue with this seller. New code came pretty much straight away

        • @callistus: How big is the file? Apparently its somewhere near 45GB? With my internet I think I'll get the CD copy :)

        • +2

          @mtran0708: That's a lot of CDs.

    • 30 COD:AW keys sold since 5th November, no negative feedback.

      • This seems alright for COD:AW

Lots of neg feedback, but mainly for non-delivery. Hopefully not an issue when ordering a key only.

        Thoughts?

  • Found FIFA 15 is available for 55$ after the added discount, its the cheapest i have seen so far. Free delivery. bought one! having said that the reason why i bought that was because in dont have 14 if you have fifa 14 then there is no point.

    • +1

i was so lucky to preorder fifa 15 at dick smith for $45 a while back

    • +1

I guess you missed all the $45-$49 deals from Dick Smith as well as the $42 delivered deal from COTD the other week :P

    • not to bad just bought fifa 15 for PC via Origin for $35 using a mexican proxy ;)

  • Does anyone know if the generic wired xbox controller would work in a PC game?

    • +3

      Yes.

The generic ones are pretty crap in my experience though. I'd cough up for the real thing unless you're only using it rarely.

      • Thanks for the info. I shall wait :)

    • I would just go for a logitech one. Got one for $10 and it gets the job done.

      • Link?

        • +1

The Logitech F310 im guessing, watty upvoted a deal when it was $10.98 from DS.

        • Thanks for links. Sorry I should have been more specific.

        • Oh … Thanks. I thought it's available now on ebay :(

        • @awoff1:
Darn, how did I miss out on that?!?!

    • +1

Its a copy you know that yeah? Legit version is abot $32 delivered from ms direct atm.

  • -6

I'm looking at getting a lego set. Is there a list of pre-approved vendors? How can we tell for sure that the code will work with a transaction if you have to click on buy first before entering it?

    • +8

Come on man, at least pretend to read the OP / comments.

Anything in the category is fair game basically, add it to cart is not the same as committing to purchase. You can then test the code.

  • Good time to buy some Nintendo Game&Watch collectables as most are pretty pricey

  • +2

$83.99 for a 64GB Vita memory card. Sold!

    • Great deal ! I copied your deal and got myself one too. :)

Did you get any games too ? I got a few plus a protective case and game cartridge case too.

      • Glad I could help. :)

Strict budget currently, so just the memory card. Hopefully I'll never have to delete anything ever again…

  • -1

anyone know if it works for items sent from Hong Kong?

    • +4

Why do so many people ask… Just try it yourself by adding it to the cart

  • +4

Settlers of Catan base game for $39.96. Not bad! Bought a few 5-6 players extension for $22 each. :)

    • 5-6 player expansion makes the game go forever.

      • The key is city building…..

    • Which seller for Settlers did you use?

  • Bought Football Manager 2015 for $37.60. :)

    • Link?

They've jacked up the price by $10 now.

        • For anyone looking for a physical disc version, rather than just a Steam downloadable copy, the cheapest eligible FM15 I found was $42.32 at;

          http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121474855338

Ships from the UK, so hopefully the first playable patch will have been released by the time it arrives!

        • Fairly sure you need Steam anyway, regardless of whether you have the physical or digital copy plus no disc, box and manual = leaving somewhat less of a carbon footprint on the planet. :)

        • +1

          @tommy-darko:

Maybe, maybe not. You didn't need steam on FM13, but either way it's still the cheapest copy available on ebay - disc or no disc.

  • Cheers OP, saved $30 off lego minifigs.

  • got to buy a present for about $50 for a 1.5 yr old boy. im thinking a remote control car, can anyone think of anything better"?

    • +2

Maybe get tonka brand …1.5 is pretty young for a remote control car but I'm sure he will grow to love it!

      Wooden puzzles
Inflatable ball pit ( I think I saw a cars one for around $30 in the deals section)
      Outdoor inflatable pool

      • +2

when did ages start getting decimalised? i remember the good old days where ages were much simpler. me? i am 29 earth rotations around the sun and 7 lunar-earth circumnavigations.

    • Anything by Melissa & Doug is good, but the wooden puzzles (12 piece probably best for that age) are a safe bet, and great educational value too.

  • +5

    Awesome!

    Just got some xmas gifts.

    1 x Lego Ultimate Collectors Star Wars R2D2 $269
    1 x Remote Control Chinook Helicopter $29.95

    Total $239 after discount ($-60).

Helicopter is for my 6yr old cousin. LEGOS ARE FOR ME!

    • +1

can you send me the link for the chinook? can't find a remote one for $30 on ebay lol

    • +3

      It's LEGO!

      LEGO is for everyone!

  • Oh! The code also works on the US based toys… thanks for sharing OP :)

  • What should I purchase with $12?

    • +5

      Dinner

      • +14

No I won't buy you dinner. We haven't even courted yet.

    • +1

      Something that requires Eneloops

      • +1

        Eneloop charger?

  • Any good Lego deal?

  • I'm assuming this code will still have time to be applied for items where you have to:

    1. "Buy it Now"
    2. Wait for seller to invoice you with total including shipping (for items with varied shipping charges)
    3. When re-invoiced for the full amount I gather I will then still then be able to apply the coupon during checkout?

It's a bit scary doing it that way as you have to commit to the purchase prior to ensuring the code will be applied. It does appear to be in an eligible category but still, I'd prefer to see the final dollar amount before committing to the purchase!

    • -1

Only if all that happens prior to the code expiring

  • Kind of a noob question, but when they say transaction. Does that means per checkout or does that mean per item bought from a store?

    • It's per checkout. You can buy multiple items in one go from different sellers as long as you add them all to your cart and they are all the same currency.

  • is the 20% applied straight away or is this something at checkout? don't want to buy something and then find wtf can't apply the code

    example like this
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360-Syma-X5C-Explorers-2-4Ghz-4CH…

    Doesn't state the 20% off..

    • +1

Add item to cart, then click 'Proceed to Check Out' Then you can put in your coupon code before checking out to paypal

      • ok cool thanks mate

    • Add item to cart, then click 'Proceed to Check Out' Then you can put in your coupon code before checking out to paypal

  • Add to cart on the desktop version, continue to checkout and then enter the promo code

  • +1

the discount doesn't apply to shipping eh?

    • +1

      Not that i'm aware of.

From the deal description, one of the T&C's is:

The discount applies to item cost only; postage costs are excluded.

  • Does this offer include the DJI Phantom drones?
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DJI-Phantom-FC40-RC-FPV-Quadcopte…

    • +1

yes, but max of $100 off

  • Thanks OP. Just scraped in there and grabbed some MTG cards!
[Edit] "This Sunday 9th to 11.59pm AEST" is how I read the title prior to panic click buying. Lesson = read shit. Still a happy buyer!

    • +1

Edited to make it a bit clearer, thanks

  • +1

Just picked up Snowboard Kids 2 for the N64 for $50 But It Now! :D

plus with the 20% off coupon making it $40 with free shipping :)

    • that was the ntsc one wasn't it?

      • Yep. How did you know?

  • +4

Great sale and grabbed a whole bunch of stuff for my PS Vita (which I got for $110!). 64 GB memory card for $83, Dynasty Warriors Legend, Need for Speed Most Wanted and Borderlands 2 for between $20 - $30 each. Multi-game table (Foosball, Ice Hockey, Billiards & Ping Ping) for $75 and a whole bunch of other knick knacks. Sometimes I wonder if OZB is saving me $$ or making me spend more ! LOL

    • +1

Sometimes I wonder if OZB is saving me $$ or making me spend more ! LOL

It's the latter. You'll buy a bunch of stuff you don't need/want just because it was cheap. That's the OZB way.

Did you buy the $110 Vita through this ebay deal?

      • My reflection is that I get more for more…. Pretty deep, I know…

  • Thank OP

  • Any decent mechanical keyboards in the toys/consoles section?
