What better incentive to purchase a co-op game than with a free controller? MS are subtle.
Thats very true. Probably trying to get you to buy more games. Pretty clever marketing tactic though..
You have to buy Xbox Live to play any of these games multiplayer, and you have to buy another game if you want to use the controller that they're giving you for multiplayer.

But it's not as if you are just going to play the bundled games for the lifespan of your Xbox! Surely, you'll co-op at some point? Diablo 3 is a good example. And it's not even split screen.
I'd rather get a controller and pick up cheap Xbox Live when I need it.
Received a notification informing me that my console was posted on Wednesday. I'm half considering waiting a week or so, given that they have a two week return policy, and seeing if any new deals come out from other retailers in the meantime.
That is, unless the consensus is that we won't see anything better than this.

I don't know how this deal can be beaten unless they swap again controller for xbox live.
I know we always want more at oz bargain but I don't see any shops giving away 5 games (including 3 hard copies) + 1 controller (value >$60).
So I will crack it open once I receive it :)
After a quick Google search on all four of those games…… NONE of them feature splitscreen, so it is impossible to play multiplayer on ANY of them…….. So uh…. Why is there a controller in this bundle?
