    My brother signed up 2 weeks ago, do you think he'll get the voucher if he "register" his details? cause when he registered after you press next it'll go to the application page and he simply closed the page, if you tried registering with the same details it will say "This email address has already been used"

    I know for the $75 I register myself even though I had the account for 2 years and to my surprise got the $75. Anyone had this experience?

      I don't think you can generate them.
      Existing members receive a "Friend code" as an email from ING.

    People who received them, when did you register? Someone above said money cleared on 13th, well before this was posted here :( not sure when this offer actually started, maybe we all missed out.

    Also, I was gonna surprise my wife. I used a "fake" email address due to voucher being emailed, but I used her mobile number so there goes my surprise :-p

      Can't you just log in and change number though? Or call them if needed to change number?

      Not sure how you manage to expire a number already though unless you signed up with expired number. You also need SMS code to transfer money out of your account too, ie if you want to transfer back the grand you just put in.

      I believe in the T&C, they mentioned it expires in June 2015. And I agree, they mostly stock their own in-house brands and a limited number of local labels!

      i think you can use it over multiple purchases ( one purchase today and another tomorrow

      also, i think that once you use the code it stays on that account. so you cant transfer it but she can always use your account

    Good news is that I got the voucher. Bad news is that it did indeed arrive by SMS instead of email (as it was supposed to) and I did not have a chance to grab the phone from wife before she saw it. So there goes my bonus Christmas present. All the sneaking around and grabbing mail before she saw it, creating a fake email address etc was for nothing :P

    But anyway, happy the vouchers arrived, I was sceptical :) Great deal.

    I have received both $75 and voucher previously… Not sure if they have the system to detect this… I'm sure the voucher has been sent to my expired SIM card.

    Anyone has received both cash and voucher, since 17 Nov 2014? I believe first voucher was sent since 24 Nov.

    I have been an ING member for about a month, so I think I just missed out on this for myself :(

    So, I got my friend to sign up, but the link didn't say anything about a 'friend referral' . Nonetheless she now has her Orange Everyday card, and has deposited $1000.

    Should she get some sort of confirmation of her voucher eligibility? Does she get the $250 in the mail, or by SMS or Email? Sorry but Im reading conflicting posts.

      Seems that the 'friend referral' is a targeted offer. Apparently some got the codes with an email, others missed out. Not sure how they determined who the 'special' people were? Ive been with ING since they started many many years ago…but I guess I'm not special :(

      Anyway, confirmed my fiancé will be getting her $250 voucher code in about 2 weeks.

      So win some, loose some..

    I phoned them late last week to confirm that my wife and I had both qualified. The rep was certain that the promo would run right up to the deadline (14-Feb-2015) and that ING Direct had allowed for the offer to be hugely popular. She didn't believe that anyone qualifying within the period would be excluded due to numbers and told me to have complete confidence in recommending to friends and family.

    So stop fretting and get on board guys; get your voucher, and be Mr/Ms Fancy-Pants for all your festive celebrations.

    On 8-Dec I have received the $250 voucher and my wife too.

      I think I got mine like 10 days after the deposit went through (actual days not business). I instantly withdrew it as well (before I got the voucher). That was around the 21st Dec?
