    The people who ordered large amounts won't get their orders as it clearly states at the top of the page that it is 6 items max per person (from the discounted items).

    I ordered 6 items from that page so I'm confident I will get everything I ordered.

    My order is showing as ready to ship with no items being removed or cancelled as yet. It's looking good for being honoured so far despite the apparent restriction in place.

    FWIW I ordered 20 $1 items and paid via PayPal.

    I'm worried every item bar one will be cancelled, and I end up paying $10 shipping on one item. That would be a ozbargain fail.

    7 out of my 8 items just got cancelled - received two seperate cancellation emails (one in morning and one at night).

    WTF that means they are making me pay $1 + $10 shipping for one item???

      I hope not. If they start doing that to us I suggest we boycott SportsDirect in future. If something ordered is out of stock, they should at least inquire whether we wish to proceed or be refunded. After all, the prices are low because nobody else wanted these goods, which is hardly our fault. They should cease accepting orders when stocks are depleted by employing a highly specialised technical skill called counting. Companies with an online presence in Australia should by now realise that if they want some excess stock blowing out the door, get the price right and OzBargain will help achieve that.

      PJC is right, they shouldn't force you to agree with a change of order.

      So I suggest you email them as soon as possible to let them know you don't want to proceed if that is the case and request a full refund before they send the package.

      I hope they dont try and do something like that to me. or ill ask for a refund followed by a paypal dispute if they decline for whatever reason.

      Many members did not notice the limit of 6 mentioned on the Rock Bottom Prices page. It was easy to miss and was certainly not enforced technically. That is squarely the fault of SportsDirect, and purchasers should not be penalised with a shipping fee which is enforced technically. Nobody here wanted to spend $11 or $12 on 1 or 2 $1 items.

      • I absolutely agree with this, as I pointed out in my post on the previous page.
        I had no issues adding the $1 items (shirts & shorts) in the last few days as my cart was saved & unchanged, but now/today show as a error/maxed limit and then increasing the price to $2 from $1.

        Not impressed, trying to decide if I should cancel order.

        EDIT 11:10 pm, I just refreshed my cart page now and the maxed/errors are no longer showing with only 1 item showing as sold out.
        It looks like they were updating or doing something on the site, as now the shirt which just showed $2 is back to $1 right now.

        EDIT 2 I've just notice 1 item is now cheaper than the other day, looks like it paid to not rush into placing a order.

        As scuba79 mentioned below the 6 has now been changed to a 24. Hopefully they are only cancelling items if they are actually sold out rather than because of us buying more than 6.

    Second order was $78 worth of clearance items. That order was made around 36 hours after the first

    $1 items are listed as ready to ship.

    $78 worth of items are listed as awaiting courier pick up.

    Did you guys check out as a guest? I haven't received any emails apart from the initial order, nothing since.

    • I haven't received email since either. I think if you now sign up with the same email it will recognise your old order so you can find the details on it.

      • Nope. I checked out as guest. Created account this morning with same email as I used for Guest and it say No orders.

        I had 10 items ordered and paid for.

        Must say I didnt ever see the small sized font saying max 6 items until I read a few posts up

    It says Ready to ship in Green but then when I click on View more details under action heading it says Quantity exceeds maximum allowed.

    The full amount has been charged to my PayPal/CC already as well.

    Wonder if they're going to honor this deal.

  • Thought I'd try another order, this time with 6 pcs (I had 10 before).
    Got all the way through to Paypal "confirm" page and when it spits you back to the SD site, you get "Nothing in your bag" and Paypal doesn't seem to work.
    Have they now blocked further orders?

          I myself ordered a combination of 5 shirts and 5 shorts as well. My online account says "Awaiting Courier Pickup" but going into the details it shows "Quantity exceeds maximum allowed."

          If it's progressing in your case though, then that might be good news for the rest of us.

      Shopped in one of their London stores mid 2012 - UK summer. Plenty of good quality cheap tees, football gear etc, although not for 57p. The shop was packed both times I went.

    I ordered 24 items, so I guess we play the waiting game now.

    • I got this same email after I emailed them and so did another poster. It almost seems like an automated reply as the response was very quick. I don't know how accurate it is or whether they have a system that can check the order number entered and give an automated status update based on that

      • It's a generic reply, but its sending was probably initiated manually.

      Got the same email too after I made an enquiry. Today my credit card was charged full amount so I guess no item was cancelled. Let's see how it goes. I'll be pissed if they send me 1 or 2 items and refund the rest without telling me beforehand. The shipping fee makes it not much of a bargain in that case.

    my order status Awaiting Courier Pickup but when I check my items, under all the clearance items it says "Quantity exceeds maximum allowed." I ordered form each sizes and colors one item. we will see what happen.

    Website has been updated, lots more colours of shorts and shirts reduced to $1 and now shows max 24 per customer instead of 6.

    My original order has now moved to "Awaiting Courier Pickup" with the excess amount warning now removed. I take it they saw just how many people ordered in excess of the 6 and decided to up it to 24 and fill as many orders as possible.

    I just placed another order for some polo's and infants shorts.

  • I did two orders yesterday. The first is awaiting pickup from courier - this one included some five dollar items. It has the track this order button.

    The second is still processing, this one was maximum number of $1 items.

  • There might be a chance the business is collecting some free money for maybe bridging purpose. Hold all the orders for a month and then cancel and refund.

  • Apparently mine have been dispatched and are currently at Shirebrook, Great Britain. The parcel weighs 0.6kg which seems a bit light for 6 100% cotton men's XL T-shirts, so I remain unconvinced I shall receive everything.

  • Hindsight is a wonderful thing as had I known their next deal was $2 polo shirts I would of held off ordering till yesterday. I placed my order on Saturday of 35 items. It's been 'awaiting courier pick up' since Monday. Hoping the courier picks it up soon!
