They are struggling to give those things away. Had 2 with the recent free promotion, and it was a mistake. First one was average so a few days later gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried again. Never again…

  • MacD's have reportedly been having problems - eg, in China (Shanghai?) with deliveries of -old- meat, I think. I hope there's no connection…

    Re: This deal's product

How can Macca's make a mistake like this!?!

Just 'cause beef is cheap, doesn't mean anyone would want to eat it, eg, as Steak, IMO.

Why don't they learn from Subways & become a salad bar of choice (as they once were, eg, in Puerto Rico, where - long ago - they had a large Salad Bar option, even serving Sangria (fruit juice or drink) from a bowl, as well as a lot of nice veggie & other dishes.

It hasn't been set-up, in that photo… We don't see the Cos Lettuce all 'round the tables, not the couple of on-the-vine Tomatoes.

On the sampled beef wrap of a sandwich, while it's nothing to write home about, I hardly think it was as awful as someone (above) made it sound to be.

Still, I'd never pay $3 for one of these tiny things… It might pass as a Child's Meal for older kids.

PS Although freshly made, it reminded me of one of those -awful- pre-made, sealed in plastic, Chicken mini-subs, that Red Rooster (or similar) once had a deal on. Theirs were WET, while these Macca damples were only moist, maybe on the road to wet… ;-)

PS While they gave samples away on Rundle Mall, other Macca's in the CBD, etc. were charging $3 each for the same thing. Location is everything!
