  • I'm with Amaysim, so I don't need this, thought others might.

This Free Lebara has been on going, so it's not a deal

prefer Lycamobile, better signal as Lyca is using Telstra

    • All the other Lebara SIM card deals were expired, so this is technically a deal since it's current.

Do they use only 3G or 4G from Telstra? How satisfied are you with them. The supersaver plan seems to meet my needs and is a fair bit cheaper than the boost one i am on.
      TIA

They use telstra 3g (nextg). Terrible customer service. No MMS. No wifi hotspot.
I was with them recently. AFAIK, No other telstra reseller uses telstra 4g. Telstra are keeping that to themselves.

        • Thank you, i think i will just stick to Boost then

I bought into the last Lebara SIM card deal via Scoopon two weeks ago.

Still haven't received my SIM card despite contacting Scoopon twice.
(I did call Lebara about but understandably they said I"d have to go back to Scoopon.)

Therefore I hope you will get your card more effectively via going directly
    through Lebara via this deal.

Can't say my 1st transaction through Scoopon impressed me much. Even less chance
of me using them in the future.

    • FYI Update/Just following through…

I've received an email from Lebara today - thats since ordering my SIM card on the 2nd of this month advising me that I should get my card within 7 days.

In effect this means that I might just receive the card 21 days after ordering via Scoopon.

Pathetic, unacceptable and will never do business with Scoopon or Lebara again. I highly suggest others consider this whenever doing business with either of these companies especially if you are needing your goods in a reasonable amount of time.

Lebara may have recovered some respect from me had they sent the card Express delivery. My previous thoughts were that Scoopon were most likely at fault, but given Lebara should surely be aware of the poor delivery time frame developing the likelihood of an unimpressed customer would ensue. This is a well deserved public complaint.

0/10 for both of these companies. PATHETIC.

How easy is it to port your number out from Lebara? I port in and out each month with Telscum and Vodafail.

Got a good chuckle when I read 'Telscum' & 'Vodafail'.
      Thanks for that ;o)

      • Tried to order the free sim and it said I've already exhausted my free sim allocation for my address. Lol

        • a bit wtf hey :oS

  • If you are going on the mega plan anyway, don't just get the free sim like I did. At the moment they are offering an extra 2gig if you buy the mega plan online.
National plan no MMS but mega plan has. I wasn't able to enable tethering via wifi hotspot.
I've found the data to get used up extremely quickly. I have been trying to port out and change to another carrier but it has taken me 4 attempts so far. Seems to be returning a DOB issue however the dates match perfectly.
