I went to one of these last year. Remember to sign up with a throwaway email address, or one that you dont mind being spammed. You essentially end up being signed up to the mailing list of every exhibitor that is there.
Was free last year too, so not sure how many (if any) people would actually pay at the door.
i think you will find a lot of people will pay as they don't know about the free deal and just turn up on the day.
Free tickets are available most years, but they are getting harder to get and previous years they stop the free tickets closer to the event.
They are getting a bit smarter, they were once just paper tickets that they tried to limit to one per family. I guess with an email address they at least get something for their "free ticket".
