      Hi Viki,

I'm not sure why you say that but I assure you it is a legitimate deal. We've been operating in India for over 2 years under the name Bhaap and recently started the Australian/UK/USA arm under the Shopocrat name.

If you have any further concerns don't hesitate to contact us on [email protected]

      Cheers!

    • Agree. Rebel has some crazy deals sometimes

    Most likely counterfeits.

Indian business, domain is registered by Ayesha Dental Pty Ltd who were previously CULTURAL CONNECT PTY. LTD.

    <MOD: Remove WHOIS on shopocrat.com.au>

It would appear that Ayesha Dental Pty Ltd have no legitimate right to have registered the shopocrat.com.au domain name - as they have no such trading name registered, and no direct connection to the shopocrat name.

Strangely, the shopocrat.com domain is registered to someone in Australia, with the same name AA Trivedi. Only registered since 2014, only paid for a years registration, and the phone number looks fake/false.

<MOD: Remove WHOIS on shopocrat.com — please do not post personal details even when it's publicly available>

    • The registrant details you have posted are correct. However, legal rights to a brand & licensing arrangements between companies is not something that can be established through a Whois search.

We have offer an array of customer service contact options in case you have product related queries. You can find these options if you visit the site.

Needless to say, all our products are 100% original and we never sell knock-offs or copies. If we mention a brand, you can rest assured that you will be shipped an absolutely authentic product.

The registrant details you have posted are correct. However, legal rights to a brand & licensing arrangements between companies is not something that can be established through a Whois search.

You have registered the .com.au domain using your Ayesha Dental Pty Ltd name. Giving "Company" as your Eligibility Type. This is a lie. You have falsely registered this .com.au domain. What "brand" - Nike?

We have offer an array of customer service contact options in case you have product related queries. You can find these options if you visit the site.

So what? Who is this we of which you speak? It seems to me that we is you.

Needless to say, all our products are 100% original and we never sell knock-offs or copies. If we mention a brand, you can rest assured that you will be shipped an absolutely authentic product.

From where are you shipping these shoes, and anything else that is purchased via your .com.au site?

I note that Ayesha Dental Pty Ltd is not registered for GST. What will your invoices have on them?

What is your returns policy? Who handles any warranty claims if the shoes do not last a reasonable time?

  • So tell us Shopocrat (AA Trivedi) (Ayesha Dental)..are your Nike shoes knockoffs or genuine
    Nike stock?

Remembering, it is illegal to sell knockoffs of licenced products in Australia.

    • Hi mrmoshe,

All our products are 100% original and we never sell knock-offs or copies. If we mention a brand, you can rest assured that you will be shipped an absolutely authentic product.

OP I would suggest that your warranty terms are in breach of Australian legislation:-

    "Genuine Warranty

At Shopocrat.com.au we are committed to selling you only the highest quality, 100% genuine brands at unbelievable prices. We are also committed to being transparent and honest with you.

Most of our items come with the full manufacturer's warranty. If a manufacturer warranty exists, we specifically mention it on the product information page in the "Fine Print" section. The manufacturer warranty will cover your purchase for manufacturing or materials defects.

If your product was damaged during transit to you, please refer to our Retuns Policy for more information about what to do in the event that you receive a damaged product.

If a product you purchased does not have a manufacturer warranty, then you are fully covered by our Genuine Warranty.

If the item we ship to you is genuinely unfit for its intended purpose, we promise to:

Ship you a replacement product upon successful return of the offending product; or if this is not possible Refund your money in full

However, there are certain situations where we cannot ship a replacement item or offer a refund. Such situations include, but are not limited to:

If you have accepted delivery of an item that was visibly damaged or unfit for its intended purpose on its presentation to you

If you have used the item more than once and found it to be defective during subsequent uses

If you have knowingly, unknowingly or accidentally damaged the item or made it unfit for its intended purpose

Any other situation where it is not possible for us to conclude that the item was defective from the outset or damaged during transit"

    • Thanks for you interest. We realise that building a reputable brand doesn't happen by breaking laws.

We're also not in this to take folks for a ride. That's why we only sell genuine, high quality products and we're transparent with our policies.

While we know that we don't break any laws, we'll also get our legal team to amend the wording of that page to minimise any confusion that may result from the current wording.
