This Saturday and Sunday is White Night, an all night city festival from 7PM to 7AM. The city will be quite packed for this excellent (IMO) festival however if you want a break from the festival, come in to Beta Bar where Saturday's theme will be Dark Knight White Night with a bit of a Batman theme.

Last year, we let you know that we were sponsoring Beta Bar, a gaming based bar by some of the former staff at Mana Bar. The long term plan is to get a full time venue that combines gaming and a bar BUT with an emphasis on the gaming. In the meantime, they will be holding regular events until they secure a venue.

Yep. Bigger space though. Have you been to Spawn Point? We were thinking of doing a meetup there (or somewhere).
I haven't been to White Night before, but it sounds like fun!
However, according to my mates' experience last year, it's best not to arrive before midnight as the streets can get very crowded. My idea is to head to the Bar, while the 'storm of people' dies down - then hop out onto the streets and soak it all in…
