      1. Free ticket for enrolment and renewal
        (a) When Members purchase a Welcome Pack in cinema, join online or renew their annual membership, they are given one free general admission ticket.
        (b) The free enrolment ticket is redeemable for one general admission seat to any movie session. Surcharges apply for sessions in Bean Bag, Xtremescreen, 3D, HOYTS IMAX, or HOYTS LUX. This pass may not be used for premieres, special events or group events.
        (c) The free enrolment ticket may be used at the same time as a HOYTS Rewards Points redemption, but cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
        (d) The free enrolment ticket must be used within six (6) months of it being issued (ie the date of Welcome Pack purchase in cinema, date joined online or membership renewal date) and cannot be exchanged or replaced.
        (e) Please note that due to advance booking policies the film and performance you wish to attend may be sold out and seats might not be available.
        (f) The Member is not entitled to any preferential right over other cinema patrons.
        (g) Film classification rules apply. ID may be required.
        (h) The Cinema Manager's decision is final.
        (i) The free enrolment ticket has no monetary value and therefore cannot be exchanged for cash at the cinema. It is not transferable and cannot be re-sold.
        (j) Normal cinema rules apply.

      Yep any day. Used mine for Imax screening last week, was a $7 surcharge on top

    But, I can't see why we have to go through all the ordeal to get a ticket for $8.50.
    Do I miss something here? "Purchase up to 5 additional as gifts" - so the maximum saving would be six memberships to exchange for 6 free tickets? But then I can't use them on 23/4 when Avenger is screened?

    I can buy tickets via Optus YES Reward ticket for $10 each everyday except after 5PM Saturdays.

          Technically you can not use the free ticket on the Hoyts Rewards card for the Avengers because it is on the NO FREE TICKET LIST. However the staff usually ignore that and just allow the ticket anyways. If you hover over the session time for that movie it will shows that it is on the no free ticket list.

          That is for other special ticket, ones where in their terms it says "Not valid on No Free Ticket screenings". This however doesn't state that. It's nothing to do with staff just 'allowing' it, the online system accepts it without a problem because it is perfectly valid.

          So please, stop trying to confuse people and stop spreading mis-information

    tough crowd here for this early in the morning. OP has had to explain several times Hoyts Membership has gone up? Good deal if you need it:) I am already a member but would jump on it otherwise. The 5 Gift memberships… friends I might gift are Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlett… ;)

    Damn it! I can't renew my membership with this voucher. I was able to last time with this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/127188 even though it said new members only.
