  • Might be worth mentioning in the title that this is three computer, one year license.

  • Shows as AUD $6.61 for me

    • USD 4.99 = AUS 6.61 .. :-( .. !! With that conversion rate they should be in the banking business !!

      • +1

mm perhaps you should put US Dollars in the title?

  • I love the firewall these guys have! Works very well.

  • What are peoples thoughts on this AV? I used to live AVAST but it's a bloated pile of crap nowadays, looking for something slim and effective.

    • Bitdefended 2015 from previous deals.

    • I gave up Avast for that exact reason. I only run SSD's in my machine and Avast is always accessing/locking them, wears them before their time.

I recommend Comodo firewall with Panda Free AV. You could use the Comodo Internet Security which comes with AV & use Panda at the same time but there's no real need.

      • Same here, only SSDs (NAS for the serious storage)

I used to use Comodo Firewall years ago, remember it being brilliant. Heard of Panda but never used it. Since you're in the same boat as me I'll give that combination a go, thanks.

As for BitDefender, I dunno where I was during those deals, I check OzB daily, sometimes several times but seem to have missed every one of them somehow. I'll give that a go when they have another offer too.

        Thanks guys.

  • Although this is rated the best at matousec, I had a very bad experience with this program.
My pc was hijacked and remote controlled while I was using it.
This program would not detect or remove the threat at all as well as many others.
I read an article that stated some USA made anti virus/malware/Trojan can be sympathetic towards some
Malware if it is USA based. It took a well known Russian program to remove my infection.

    • You noob! You should have cut the hardline.

yeah i yanked the cable real fast the idiot was trying to log into my paypal the same time i was obviously using the computer. That is the real weakness of lastpass and other password fillers yet I do not include palpal and banking in these fillers just in case. Avast, Comondo, Spybot and Malwarebytes all failed to remove and detect the problem but Outpost found it and removed it.

        • :)

        • As tempting as it was would be not having to enter all those nasty CC details etc, you'd have to be asking for trouble to actually do it.

          Glad you yanked the cord!
