    Radiant Laundry $5.99

    Mother's Day Special ?????

It comes with instructions on how to use a washing machine as an added bonus! Specifically written for males.

Grabbed it on special 2 weeks ago, holy shit this stuff brings out colours like no other. Will gladly pay full price for it.

      • +1

Really? I've tried to pick the difference between washing detergents and apart from fragrance I couldn't. Hence I buy home brand laundry detergent ;)

        • I used to be the same. Always the cheapest. I got a sample once of some expensive crap, and it was rubbish. Only grabbed the Radiant one day because it was half price, and yes there is a HUGE difference.

Like I said, the main difference you will see is in the colours. Everything comes out the wash as more vibrant, and looks "newer". Sorta loses that washed a million times look. I might be an Ozbargainer and look for the best prices, but shit this stuff is now my go to, even at full price. And I think the fragrance of this one just smells nicer and fresher than anything else i've used before.

No, I don't work for Radiant either haha.

    • How many washes does it do though? I'd like to see a price per wash… Was about to get the ALDI washing powder yesterday until I saw a box for $8.99 only did 15 washes. Pffft.

  • Anyone know what pods the S21 takes? I bought one of the $38 ones from last week but wondering what to do when the pods eventually run out.

    • You can buy Woolworth ones or recycle them and make your own.

whoa….thanks tightarse, i nearly pulled the trigger on the $49 s20 caffitaly coffee machine today, in fact i was just on my way to go get it when i checked ozb and saw your post. They have the S21 with the 3 packs of gj's coffee pods. I will now wait until the 6th. thanks heaps, i like the look of this newer model.

    • +3

I didn't think tight people would be interested in Pod Coffee machine's.

      • +5

Just because the coffee to go in them is over $100/kg ? Maybe they don't notice. Or rarely drink.

        • +5

Plus, they are quite a bit worse for the environment due to the wastage of it all. It would be better to just get an aeropress or even a plunger with some good ground beans.

        • +3

Or how long compatible pods will be manufactured until you need to buy a new machine.

        • Plus has anybody found any pods that don't taste awful? I only ever drink pod-based coffee to be polite when a friend doesn't have real or even instant coffee at their house, but I've never had one that tasted good. Even the best one I tried was only slightly better than Starbucks dishwater. Now even McDonalds serve the pod-style coffees instead of their filter coffee, so it tastes awful too.

Pod coffee is like soft-p*rn. Somehow they produce and sell lots of it, but I don't know anybody who actually enjoys it.

        • @greenie4242: I enjoy the lavazza ARMONICO and APPASSIONATAMENTE pods, it's important to warm up the machine first with an empty shot, just like the big machines in cafes too. Use filtered water, and serve immediately. The choice of milk makes a big difference too, I use bonsoy or regular milk, I prefer the creaminess of bonsoy, don't bother with other soy milks, taste like wet chinese newspapers, mulched.

[@fryandlaurie] hmm, good ground beans, 500g say, would only last so long once opened, but they would taste better. An aeropress is more than $49 for a pod machine, is it? I'd like to try it actually. Busy people just want to press a button though.

If you do high numbers of coffee shots, beans with a grinder/machine is the go, one shot a day… maybe not.

        • @greenie4242: Five star restaurants have been serving pod coffee as a normal thing for a long time now. Simply because people cannot tell the difference and it beat out other methods of preparing coffee on taste.

Yeah taste: if you are like most people you will choose pod coffee as tasting best in blind testing where users didn't have the cues of well … coffee culture or whatever you want to call it. Which is why it gets served at fine eating establishments rather than get made any other way.

Any online codes to make it even cheaper? :)

    • Yeah, all the good ones from the past month expired last night :(

      • Darn it, was wondering which of 40+ codes still worked. Do they do them often or just once in a while.

        • They released a lot of codes in Dec 2014….
I guess we will just have to wait :(

        • +1

          @mmd:

Yeah, they might be in a "quarterly" pattern now.

    • Try NYTPM6XC, coming up as used for me as opposed to other codes that are coming up expired.

      • Coming up as expired for me. :(
I dont like the new site as it seems only one code can be entered at one time.
There was a popup message where you entered the coupon on the old site, which states 2 codes can be entered at any time.

  • Tempted to grab a 532 as a back up… can Bagman unlock?

    • The 532 seems like a good deal. Definitely better than the 530 for an extra $10 (physical buttons e.g.)

      • 1gb of ram would help. Is the screen better?

        • Yep.
Anything would be better than the 530's screen

        • @Food: I've never really had an issue with the 530 screen. Got one on the cheap from Woolies late last year when my Xperia Z1 committed suicide and haven't looked back. Total convert to WP now, can't wait to check out some higher end phones.

        • @IHateFrasierCrane:

I picked up the 532 to see what improvements were, and it's better in just about every way over the 530. The screen is still a pos though. :(

The 532 is awesome for anyone that wants to try windows phone because it has features like double tap to wake and glance screen. The 1gb of ram is also a noticeable improvement and will allow you to install apps that you can't on the 530. If the improvement of the 532 is anything to go by, then I am looking forward to see what Microsoft can come up with their new flagships.

However the only reason I'd recommend getting a 532 over say the Huawei Y550 is it's back to $99. The Y550 has better screen, SoC and camera if you care. The Audio output is better on the 532.

  • Oh great, Betty Crocker is half price. Time to stock up =D

I have never seen the Arnott's Creams on Half Price before…GREAT!!!

    • +1

Same, I grabbed some in my online order today.

      • Nice! I just introduced the wife to them last week, she loves them. Thankfully she only eats two or three at a time (whereas I can demolish an entire pack in a few minutes if left alone with them).
