Banggood Nitecore Charger Deal 11/04/2015 - Nothing to Read Here I Think - Mistake Made

EDIT: TL;DR, if your reading this do yourself a favor and skip to last sentence or two to save your time.

Seems I didnt read through the thread properly, and it is just be a problem with the nitecore validation, it would still be good to validate your chargers when you get them even if the system is kind of broken.

This is in relation to the deal posted last month - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/189957#comment-2731337

discussed HERE - http://budgetlightforum.com/node/37889

(edit:the fact there is online validation says to me there are indeed counterfeit nitecore chargers out there apparently mainly only the i series)

Be careful about where you get yours, because, as I have found out if the price is too cheap it will possibly be a fake.

There is a online tool on nitecore to verify if you have a valid product (http://charger.nitecore.com/validation).

TL;DR
Last edit:The most interesting post on the whole thread was (http://budgetlightforum.com/node/37889?page=4#comment-736189) where the OP quoted a official nitecore dealer in UK who said QUOTE:"there was a big problem with the I series when it came to fakes, but he was unaware of any of the d series being copied as of yet."

He also goes on to confirm his one from banggood was genuine, so it seems the reports of counterfeits/clones were greatly exaggerated.
