Just got email from The Good Guys "Mobile frenzy" available until Tuesday. They have some good unlocked phones with price marked down. I haven't compared the prices yet so anyone who wants to post a new deal, feel free to use.

    Here's the link:
    http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/mobile-frenzy?utm_source=Cheet…

It's just too risky for me to post two (potentially negative) deals in a row. Lol!

    • Too risky? You just want to be one of The Good Guys don't you?

      • +1

Yes, I want to be a good guy, but not in the way you think. What's wrong with sharing that link? This forum is all about sharing good deals, isn't it?

Yes, I can post a new deal by myself. However, as I wrote in my previous comment, I didn't want to risk my reputation because I'm a newbie here in the DEALS section. What could go wrong if I get too many negative votes in my first posts? I left it for an experienced user who would want to use the link in their post because I think he/she should know what to do with it.

I didn't force anyone to use that link. Why the hate, people?

        • "I haven't compared the prices yet" there's no point posting a deal or submitting a link on an unrelated deal without doing proper research (at least if you want positive votes). As you can see by the downvotes and no one using this link, it's unlikely it contains any bargains. I receive 30-50 emails in my 'promotions' tab in gmail each day, how many of those do you think are worthy of being posted given they have a mass audience are unlikely to be the best deal/bargain?

A few seconds of Googling or searching OzBargain has your research:
          https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/samsung-galaxy-note-4
$694-774 (aus stock) vs $848 (your link)

        • @Lukian: Thanks for your opinion. I really appreciate it.

That's because I'm a newbie in this DEALS section. I've receive email from TGG and I just want to share it here. Some people may find it useful, some may not. If not just leave it that way. Is there any harm associated?

It's just like I received a cake from someone delivered to my house for free (and my friend's houses also). All of us are chilling in my house. I don't eat it yet because I'm kinda full or afraid of getting fat. So I ask them if they want a piece or all of it. Some may want because they're hungry or they want to have a taste before going home. Some of my friend look at the cake and say it look aweful and spit on it. If they don't want to eat and neither do I, I have to throw it in a bin which is a shameful way.

This website is about sharing. We share things that someone may find it interested. Others don't like it just leave. It's not like I dumped rubbish in your house. This is my post, I share a link, you don't like it, please go away. No need for negative votes. I didn't force anyone to use the link. Period! Sorry.

@721411: Just understand the reasons for negative votes on comments. Hint: they happen, often for non-reasons, and there seems to be a sheep mentality to continue downvoting a downvoted comment - do also note each user is limited to 5 downvotes per day.

Technically you are 'lucky' that you've received quality feedback, as someone could have simply clicked the 'report' button and your comment could be removed for being off topic. There are also forums for discussing things.

Cake isn't a valid example unless it has more than 10 items (pieces) in stock ;)

        • @Lukian:Yes, that's what I want to hear from experienced users. Many thanks. :)

What I don't agree about the negative votes is mostly because those who voted didn't leave commnets saying why they did. I'm new here and many other new members who are trying to contribute to this site are scared of getting negative votes. Imagine you got bad marks from your teacher but he doesn't say reason why. How would you feel? We're still learning. I hope you guys being kind and helpful to NEW members.

Also, I believe you can get at least 8 pieces or more from the cake I mentioned (or too much fat and sugar that put you off) ;)

These guys are struggling to sign up businesses. When you look at the list there are mainly local councils, some water companies a VERY SMALL handful of other companies. In my case I would get one bill so i don't see the point until they sign up more comapnies
