Business Stripe Trousers $2.01 at Kmart WA

1500

Do you need trousers for your next court appearance?

You can get stripe trousers at Kmart for $2.01!
Pay cash to save 1 cent :)

My local one in WA had heaps of size 77cm (no other sizes left). Please let us know if your local Kmart have these.

In terms of quality, don't expect it to be fancy. The care label states the trousers contains polyester but does not specifiy the %.

Edit:
Q&A & fashion advice
EC asked if the trousers are slim fit?
Unfortunately not.
I tried it on and it looks like a regular fit, but not as bad fitting as the Man to Man trousers.

If you get sick of these trousers, you can convert it into shorts for summer :)

person experience - you always loose a case in a suit.
go as a poor ass and always win

    • +1

Perhaps you might actually get summoned to court for wearing these lol

I always thought you lost the cases where you're in the wrong. I'll make sure to go to my next manslaughter appeal in a mankini.

    • So guilt has nothing to do with it?

Has always wanted to rip off my trousers in front of my colleague during happy hours. Now I have no reason not to.

This thread reminds me of the infamous $38 polyester suits a few years back.

And yeah the suit was wipe free for those boozy friday nights drinks after work that usually results in arrest slash court appearances

  • Is there a cheaper version for Jury Duty?

Why would u want to wear these to court? A true ozbargainer would wear whatever he has been wearing for the past week saving the cost of washing powder and water.

    • +8

You got it all wrong my friend. Ozbargainers don't save by not spending but by spending smarter than other. If we don't spend at all there won't be an Ozbargain website with lots of deals.

You probably deserved the two negs, but I'm plussing one for the fact that it may be true. ☺

You probably deserved the two negs, but I'm plussing none for the fact that it is not true. ☺

  • Thanks OP, gonna wear this on the motorcycle to pick up chicks in style

A peg and a playing card don't make it a motorcycle.

To quote Daryl Kerrigan, "You can't buy the materials for less than that price!"

  • +12

Excellent. Now I can mow the lawn in style!

Size 77, that's like kids size haha.

  • OP says there are only 77cm left, tag says 82cm haha.

    • +1

Yes cos i bought the last one even tho I am a size 87cm (had a mentality of buying now, think later!)
Now hopefully this will spur me on to drop a few kgs :)

  • OP which store did you visit? Saves us trying the same store.

    • It was Belmont Wa. Just went past it tonight and there was only a couple of 77cm left…

  • You usually need a shirt and shoes for court appearances btw.

  • Did these scan at $2.01?
or was it overwritten to $2.01?

    • I went to the self service checkout and it scanned for $10. I showed the attendant the tag with the $2.01 sticker.
      Is the price nation wide?

      • That means its store specific

        • Hey bargainbot, any reason why just this store? too much stock level? slow moving?

        • @mmd: Its on clearance for $10 already, managers are allowed to further reduced stock at there own discretion. Usually to make way for new stock.

  • Booragoon WA store had a Rrp of $15.
Had a clearance sticker of $10 and scanned in at $10 :(

  • Same in my local k-mart. But I saw a group of k-mart chicks trying to mark down all the men's clothing.

    • Most stores would have finished stock take yesterday or today, so all the mark downs will commence shortly for mid season apparel stock

  • do these pants impress the ladies?
