Need a New TV - Any Good Deals about?

Hi all.

When I was in the UK, I paid a small fortune (£3000) for a Samsung UA65ES8000 TV. That was around three years ago and recently the TV has developed some dark areas and horizontal lines across the screen. It's not too bad when the screen is bright but it looks awful when the scenes are darker and really affects your viewing.

Anyway, I phoned a local TV repair shop and asked about a panel replacement and they told me that it would cost 80-90% of the cost of a new TV to replace!! So, it looks like I will be getting a new TV but its the last time I'll be getting Samsung - I've had nothing but trouble with their stuff over the years.

Anyone seen any good deals on TV of 65 inch and upwards???
