    certainly much better than UE Booms as i own a range of speakers….at $150 its excellent….nothing matches in the price range…. but not $299…
    if dock is an issue u can get lightning adapters very cheap from ebay….using with them no problems…

  Searched for reviews and they say it uses 6 D cell batteries, not rechargeable. Would get expensive if you wanted it portable

  Bought one today….its very loud …clear sound…not for baseheads…decent base though ….not ideal if you are looking for something for taking outside(will consume D batteries) …for inroom its very good…cant go wrong for $150. Nothing in that price range sounding similar to what this does….for $299 its certainly not worth!!!

  Yes it has bluetooth and comes with the remote and for new adapters…i ordered iphone5/6 adapters ….6 for $10 or $15 few months back from ebay….

  I currently have a beats pill XL, great sound and I've been very happy with it but unfortunately they have been recalled so I have to give it back shortly.
