First post here. I am currently looking for cheapest prices on Leica 50mm Summilux F1.4 Aspherical lens and Sony A7Rii. They dont have to be local. Overseas products are fine too. I will be going to Japan next year March so hoping I can make use of the camera there. Thanks guys!

I had a look at the price of lenses in Japan and they are more expensive and given the low AU currency, probably not worth it.
I have read some reviews online and many ppl love the Leica lens and a7rii combo. So I thought I'd give it a try. The a7rii also has more functions like video recording and stuff.
Have you considered a FE lens (55 1.8) for the A7Rii? Unless you plan to use the 50 Summilux on another M.
I bought the A7r as a digital body for my M lenses but still prefer using the M lenses on the M body. I think I would use the A7r more if I had native lenses with AF. Now it hardly gets used. Focussing with a rangefinder is quicker and easier for me than zooming in to focus especially if the subject moves.
