How would I know where the offer is applicable for tho ? Would it be somewhere in the fine print on their website ?
Many catalogs (paper or pdf) have a code in small print somewhere on each page. For example, the current South Australian Coles catalog has "LH-SA-METRO-2110-15-453127" on even-numbered pages and similar on other pages.
If nothing else though, if it was delivered to you in NSW then including NSW in the information would help. Other readers will probably confirm for their locations.
Checking online and the SA IGA catalog has these for $13.99 so while still a good price it's more than the deposit cost ($2.40) and not quite as good a bargain as you're getting.
Should indicate which state - most chains have different catalogs for some states and especially important for drink specials in SA and NT. Usually retailers just add on the deposit amount but sometimes they don't add the full amount (making an even better special) or add an amount above the deposit (which degrades the special).
