    Joke post?

      nope, legit.

  • Seems like we're importing America's gun culture as well as its hemp (horti)culture

    • Gun ownership is significantly less in australia since 1996, despite there being 4 million more people and zero mass shootings. As far as hemp goes it came over on the first fleet and was encouraged for 150 years by the government with tax breaks and land grants. it was extensively used for recreation and medicine as well as its food, fodder, rope and cloth making for most of australias history

    • why not? even with shipping at 1c for 100 grams is damn cheap compared to what it retails for in a health store.

      • The sample is 10g?

        • my bad, bed time.

  • Can i smoke this?

    • you can try, but commercially available hemp foods are usually way too low in the active ingredient.

You can smoke whatever you want if you try hard enough.

  • These seeds won't grow. And you won't get high off them. They are protein.

Note that under current regulations, I believe that these samples are not to be consumed by humans in Australia.

As we can see on the hempfood.com.au FAQ, "Any nutrition or recipe information provided by this website is intended only for people… Taking or sending Hemp Food products out of Australia to be consumed elsewhere." http://www.hempfoods.com.au/frequently-asked-questions/

It also says: "Are hemp foods legal in Australia? Hemp foods are not permitted for human consumption in Australia." http://www.hempfoods.com.au/australian-hemp-legislation/#.Vj… (Similar info is also found at http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/consumer/generalissues/hemp/….

However, it is legal to grow hemp, and it is legal to sell hemp products. What can we do with these samples, then? We can feed them to our animals, take them out of Australia to eat them ourselves, or send them to someone in another country where it's legal to eat them (pretty much any other country). Or use them to make some type of soap, or similar.

    • strangely enough, its fine to import edible hemp products to oz.

      • Yeah.. probably with the same outcome as Twocsies post, you will receive the product but technically not allowed to eat/consume it. Same thing as buying from this website.

I dont care though, Im munching this good stuff down!

I really hope that senate committee can impact some of this over the top regulation.
We used to have a chuckle at America being too conservative now while they relax laws we are taking them further.

  • Thanks for the post,
Makes great oils for damaged or dry skin if you extract from seed!
Pity its such a small sample for the price (postage).
I would not be eating this, hell, I would give it back if someone tried selling me seeds back in the day, that shit lowers your sperm count guys.
