  • does this also record the screen as well?
I am looking for a good, free program that can record the screen…

Looks good and has some nice features. Been looking for some software to edit and remove unwanted sections from tv recordings.

If your after just video and audio conversion software you can also try out some of the free software such as Freemake Video Converter and Format Factory.

Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna check it out

edit: I checked it out. It's damn good. It even gave me a registration key and everything. Thanks! :)

  • No good for me. I went for the email option, but the link in their message is broken.

    • Worked for me and "You have to install and activate it before the Giveaway offer for the software is over."

  • Can it rip DVDs?

    • No, but you may check out WonderFox DVD Ripper or WonderFox DVD Video Converter.

  • Downloaded it yesterday, but when I tried to set it up today, it told me "Giveaway period for this software is over".

Seems you had to install it very quickly. Pretty much means you'll never be able to reinstall it again in the future if you decide to wipe your HDD.

Now I'm going to ask my good old friend Cutthroat Bill if he has a copy plundered from somewhere.
