  does any one know what the difference between the headset with the black ring and the ones with the red ring around the ps3 logo?
  have they upgraded them or is it just a cosmetic thing?
  the prices are exactly the same at some places

    I'm pretty sure the red ring is just when it's turned on - a light you might say.
