    This deal is different to last year's deal - both for the Samsung S6 Edge only.
    
    This deal is $598 for the 32gb in gold, white or green. If buying the green, you can also get the Samsung Gear headphones free - it's bundled (green doesn't sell as well). You will need the $200 off voucher by email AND trade-in of an old working phone for the extra $200 off. Total $400 off the retail price. So that is 40% off. Retail price is $998. Good if you are looking to upgrade an old phone.
    
    Last year's deal was for the 64gb in White ONLY. It was $688 after $210 off voucher plus $200 off for trade-in of an old working phone. Retail was/is $1,098.
    
    If you read the whole thread, or search last year's thread - you would know.
    
    NOW, with yesterday's INSTANT DEALS (from what I can see), it was $200 off the 64gb but with no trade-in.
    
    If in doubt, ring the store.
    
    With my trade-in last year, I was told you can trade in with any mobile phone purchase - on any phones. Up to their own discretion. They may give you $100 off for an old phone trade-in.
    
    Remember with JB Hifi, you can ask for a discount. Just ask.
    
    IF you don't like the S6 Edge, well then don't bother with this deal.
    
    BTW, I understand what you are saying. You got the S6 Edge 64gb with the extra $100 off at their own discretion.

Stocks are disappearing from Melbourne CBD stores - no eligible stocks left at Bourke St Mall and only a handful at Elizabeth St. I reckon by the end of today, you would have to go out to the country stores to secure the goods. You might be able to ask them to transfer the stocks to your nearest JB Hifi stores but I'm not sure.

looking at increasingly number of new s6 edge on sale on ebay, im afraid all the brodens cant get much profit. some brand new were sold at just $650-ish. after 10.5% combine fee of ebay and paypal, probably even slight loss.

The battery on this phone doesn't compare to my Huawei Mate 7 :( Already @ 60% while my mate7 would be on 80% by now.

I'm considering going back to the mate 7 but this is a beautiful phone and takes some awesome photos and 4k video… 1st world problems!

    Nothing different to what I would do with the mate 7, battery is now 44% compared to 70%ish it would normally be with Mate 7…
    
    I guess the 4000mah vs 2550mah makes a difference.

    It was the Hobart CBD store and I used this code which was posted here on page 5. They put the code in at the checkout and it went through fine. They stated that ANY phone was OK for a trade-in so long as it worked, and they ran the IMEI number in their system to check it wasn't stolen. I passed in a Galaxy S1.

Got last green with VR glasses from Blacktown. Traded in a Nokia 2730 that I got for $24.50 from just over 4 years ago. Used a $20 gift voucher from coke rewards.

Then went to Mt Druitt to swap for a gold one :D

Interestingly enough Mt Druitt also had $200 trade in for any working phone for the S6 non-edge and Note 5 too. Still not worth it though ^^
