Anyone can recommend any current deals on either the Fitbit Charge HR or the Garmin Vivosmart HR?
Desperately looking to purchase 2 asap. Many thanks in advance!!!

Family members own both the Charge HR and Vivosmart HR. Both are good. Charge HR would be more discreet as it has a smaller screen. The vivosmart HR's larger screen shows more data (charts) on the screen as well. Depends on what you like.
Vivosmart HR is water resistant to 50 metres, Charge HR is only resistant to sweat, rain and splash. So if you're likely to get into the water, the Vivosmart is the way to go.
If you can hold off the purchase until a sale, you could save a bit of money. Current best price for Charge HR is ~180, but I got it for $126 during boxing day sales. Vivosmart HR price hasn't moved much though, still around $230
I have used a charge HR for the past 9 months.
Pretty happy with it, it's been solid with no real issues, does what I want it to do. Although the screen has cracked, a crack developed slowly for a few months and now there's a small chunk missing out of the side of the screen..
Paid $130 for the charge HR, wait for sales (harvey norman seem to flog them off cheaply on a semi-regular basis).
I was about to purchase the Garmin XL one from eBay for $219 and then read some not so flattering reviews.
You can find it from Target for $229 and the regular size less than $200 on eBay.
I did not research Fitbit as it did not come with functions I were after (read sms etc) but then also realized Garmin did not show complete messages either.
Went with Moto 360 from Mobileciti, slightly more than $200.
