    • you might wanna consider second hand G27 if playing on PC, it comes with everything including a shifter which G29 or G920 does not.

    • What platform are you playing on?

If it's PC you can try and find a deal on a G25/G27 and get a H pattern shifter in the deal.

      • Yeah, PC. Since the deal's expired I will likely heed the advice of you two and try to find a second hand G27 with a shifter included. Had a quick look on Gumtree and it seems to range from $150-$200, any idea what price I should be considering as fair? As a last ditch effort though I've asked a friend who works at DSE to let me know when their G29's get put on a higher discount.

        • I got my G27 on gumtree in pretty much new condition (still under warranty) for $170. I play both pCars and Assetto Corsa.

  • Looks like most of them have been taken down now.

    • yep. all taken down for me.

cant get to a store since i'm at work.

oh well, at least my wallet wont take a beating

  • Been told it's an advertising error :(

    • +1

      On all the items?

      • I just wanted the g910, didn't ask about the others

    • +1

That can't be right. Items have scanned at the discounted rate. They most likely pulled the products from the website to avoid backorders.

    • Thats one heck of an error… Typical HN post a great deal, deal gets OZBargined, they head for the hills.

  • Dammit, missed out. That will teach me for not getting on Ozbargin early.

  • Dick Norman or Harvey Smith?

  • +1

Just bought a G910 from my local country Harvey Norman instore.
Scanned at $115, bought and home now.

If your local store is close by, head in and see what it scans at.
    Worse case, just ring.

  • +1

    Professionals!!!

  • +1

I also get an error on G910 :(

  • +3

I have all the info regarding the products listed, after speaking to online reps and in store reps.

All the items listed are going in a Harvey Norman sale @ 70% off, the item i was specifically interested in was the Logitech G810 Keyboard, it retails at Harvey Norman for $248 and with the 70% discount it will be $178 the store clerk told me.

The prices listed above are in fact pricing errors and harvey says they wont honor it. Although the Store clerk was nice enough to tell me that head office is individually calling and letting each store know of the pricing error so they can fix it, he said if you get to a local store before they fix the pricing error they have to sell it at the price it scans at.

Unfortunately my store is already aware, but you may get lucky at your local store. If you do, grab me a G810 for $119 and I will reimburse you + shipping. Cheers.

    • +3

Thanks for the update. I'll mark this as expired as most people aren't likely to get one at this morning's price anymore.

    • +1

$248 and with the 70% discount it will be $178

      Harvey Norman mathematics?

      • I am not sure if he got things right with the 70% off, that would make the G810 $248 - $173.60 = $74.40???

        Seems like a crazy price.

      • +8

        That's Hardly Normal mathematics.

  • god damn work, i was going to pick up a g29 this arvo

  • +2

Second time I've dealt with Harvey Norman aka 'Hardly Normal' and gotten the 'whoops pricing error guys'.
First time was with Asus EP121 Core i5 Windows 7 64GB Slate Tablet https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/89032

Should have learnt my lesson then

  • No stock of keyboards at HN midland WA. Hope it saves someone a wasted trip

  • +1

I also got a G910 in store for $115, it just scanned at that price at the counter.

  • got the g29 in store, guy couldnt believe what he saw, said its supposed to be 30% off rrp of $499….

  • I just grabbed the g910 from the Mandurah WA store at $115. Still around 2 in stock from what I saw.

  • No stock of the G910 in the Carins store, but paid $115 for one that's on back order. Thanx op :)

  • Even G310 are sold out.

  • Just got the G710+ for $64 at Gordon store, scanned at that price, I didn't even need to mention the website. I think they had another 2 there, maybe some other G series ones too, I was in a hurry (already gone overtime on my lunch hour but worth it to get the keyboard I wanted). Sales guy seemed shocked at the price but he knew it was on sale.

  • Literally signed up so I could give those in the Newcastle/Maitland area that Maitland Harveys had a couple of G710's and a single G910 when I went there around 10am this morning. So might be a good idea to give them a call and see if they can scan it beforehand to check.

Typing with the recently aquired G710 as we speak so they honoured it. :)
The guy who I was talking to was pretty gobsmacked too.

  • I just bought 2 G710+'s no worries. Receipt link:

The sales guy was genuinely shocked and had no idea, he offered to buy it back off me for a higher price… lol

  • +1

Get in to your local store quick. Head office is calling all the stores. Apparently it's supposed to be 30% off rrp on selected logitech products.

  • Grabbed the last G10 from Ozborne Park WA. Call your local stores

for WA, City west and Cannington had some stock (2-3) about 15 mins ago.

  • Will pay $150 for g810…

    still on?

  • Was gonna go g910 but I read the keyboard isn't suited for extended typing. Picked up g810 from Broadway. The manager refused to honour the price at first but I told him the person I spoke to on the phone said that's the price 5 Min ago. Manager finally budged but would only let me purchase 1 logitech product. Anyone looking for a g910, pm me, I got my local jb to price match them.

    • Was just at Broadway (Sydney CBD) and was told the prices have reverted to normal.

      • Yeah. I got there at 1215? Prices were already back to normal. I mentioned the guy I spoke on the phone with. I was there for a good 20 Min telling them I took time off work just to pick it up because their sales told me it was still 119. If ure still interested in g910 I can swing by my local jb and pick it up for u. They said they'll do 115 for me this morning

        • Already got a G810 on backorder (doubt it'd evet come through but still hopeful :P)

Was looking to get a G710+ and a G29 wheel though if you know it's possible price match those?

        • @konakona: u managed to get it at Broadway? They only price matched items that they have in stock. Don't think they have G29 in stock in store.

        • @Suikoden: Nah, I ordered it online early on in the morning before I went in store, wasn't even aware they had any stock because it showed zero stores with G810's in stock when I ordered online. What did you do to get JB to price match the G910?

        • @konakona: mine is back ordered too. They said they'll honour it once the purchase has been made. As for jb… I just called up and said I couldn't be bothered going to HN for g910 and asked if they can price match it…. The manager said they'll do it for the g910 but they don't stock 810

        • @Suikoden: Ah dang, doubt they'd price match the wheel now then since the website's no longer showing that price (or displaying the page at all for that matter).

        • @konakona: yeah I called. Jb just received a memo from head office saying they can't price match anymore but the store is still willing to honour the g910 they quoted for me this morning

        • @Suikoden: Thanks for checking :)

      • Any chance they had the g710 and will price match it? @Suikoden

        • They don't stock the g710 just called

        • @Suikoden:

          Damn, thanks for checking!

        • @Suikoden:
Sorry to bother you again, but would your jb still have stock of the g810 and be willing to match the price? Han had the g710 but scanned in at 90…would rather get the g810 for a little lomre

  • Asked my local store to check the price of the G29 for me. He had a look, left, then came back and said he called head office and said they will not honor it as it's a price error.

I bet it did show up as $223 but didn't want to give it to me at that price. I should have just grabbed it and asked checkout to scan it in for me.

    • Go back and check if it scans at the discounted price at checkout. They have to honor the price the product scans at.. but they probably already reverted back to the correct price

      • Yep I went back and got someone else who had no idea and gave it to me at the price! Some stores may be putting the stock at the back though (mine did) and the salesman that served me got into trouble by his boss. My store were such jerks about the whole thing.

        Good luck everyone.

  • +1

HN Richmond held one for me, and when I got there (rode my bike once I knew it was an error), the bloke told me I was "very very lucky, we aren't doing any more of them."

No point looking at the keyboards, they'd been fixed as well.

  • +2

rang the store I had my g29 put on hold for pickup tomorrow worrying i'd drive 25km to be told tomorrow no its 499.

Their manager has told me that i've been quoted 223 on it, everyone knows its 223, if it scans up differently i still get it for 223.

    • +1

Curious to see the outcome, because all day online rep has told me they cant honor the price, but if a harvey manager does then they should.

      • +1

so here is how it went down :

Drove all the way up to the munno para shop from paracombe (quite a drive).

Guy serving me looked all over for it, found it back on the shelf, turns out the guy who i'd spoken to hadn't done an invoice or even taken down my name or anything.

Dude scanned it up and it came up as damn near full price.

Told him what the other guy had said, he instantly got hostile, kept going on about how they weren't gonna lose money, started demanding the dudes name (didnt remember it).

Went through a whole debacle of him going on about how they couldn't do that price, I just stayed nice and re-said how I felt it may not be correct hence why I called up a second time to confirm it as I didnt want to waste 45m of travel and time off work to go and get a wheel if it was just an error.

He managed to find the guy who I spoke to, who then changed his story to he told me it was 249…. guy tried everything he could to get out of it, just showed him the ozbargain page which he claimed was nothing to help my case, so I brought up a google cached version of the page and showed how if you googled g29 harvey norman it still came up with a tab saying it was 223 there.

He then called around other shops and turns out this dude was a manager and he was looking for someone else to hang it on from the sounds of it and wanted to do it for 249.

So showed him the google cache of the page, found out when the page was corrected and the fact that i'd called up before the page was corrected and the guy had promised i'd get the price tomorrow when I picked up.

The guy started to come around, admitting that there were pricing errors, and that logitech was allowing a "window" for them to recoup losses on it, and that as this wasn't invoiced they wouldn't get reimbursed.

Just said to him mate I understand, but i've taken the time, i've confirmed, done nothing wrong, I understand again where your coming from but it is what it is mate and I would appreciate it if you guys can do the honorable thing and honor it so he did.

Was fuming mad at the guy who made the quote and I was like well maybe he was snowed under and meant to write the sales order or it even got lose so don't take it out on them, just use it as a training exercise.

I didn't highlight to him how i've had issues with this store before where when they had a bunch of cheap games they rang me up in a bad attitude after confirming my order to tell me "the games weren't here I dont know what else you expect order is cancelled" for me to ring through to head office pretty annoyed as after I got it confirmed a took a job in the area the next day so I could justify a trip out that way to get them, to then get a phone call as I was packing up from the job telling me, sorry I dont know what happened or who called you saying the games aren't there we just found them.

Probably should have but was just happy to get my wheel, but yeah H/N does need improvement in those areas, i'm glad I was able to talk this guy around but at the start when he tried every tactic he could not to honor it, just seemed a bit cheap and dismissive and just general bad customer service.

I know in retail (ex retail and distribution here) you get a lot of people trying to f*** you for deals but this wouldn't have come across as that and at the start it did feel like he was going to defcon 1 too quick over it, glad he came to his senses.

I don't know how much it will help anyone else but here's a copy of the receipt so you are welcome to try your luck, but if you can't get anywhere with it I wouldn't hammer the sales people, it's not their fault.

  • I damn near bought a G910 Orian Spark which they had there on the shelf for $115 aswell but thought 2 x G710+'s was enough for 1 day… looks like i should have bought everything i could while i could. Oh well.

  • Just got a call from my local Harvey Norman to tell me they received my order but they don't have any in stock. I'm in a small country town so not a huge Harvey Norman.

He said he put an order in for me and he should have it in about a week. That was for the g810.

    We'll see what happens.

  • They got the dreaded phone call right when I was about to take out my wallet GG

Deal is not expired. Just popped into HN Moorrabin and the G710 + G910 still have a few units left and scanned at the discounted price.

    • If you'd bothered to read the thread (or even the post before yours) you'd understand why "Deal is not expired" is flat-out wrong.

      • -7

Was too busy making my way to HN, not good to OZB + drive at the same time. I just bought one of each.

        http://m.imgur.com/SXQOToU.jpg

        Jelly?

        • Again, if you weren't stupid enough to be posting to a thread you hadn't read, you'd know I got what I wanted, but I understand I was very fortunate, and I'm not stupidly putting out incorrect information, as you are.

        • -4

          @Mic Cullen:

I can tell by your tone you are very jelly.

Makes me happy that my good fortune put you in such a toxic and jealous mood.

          :D

        • @c0balt: Which bit of "you'd know I got what I wanted" are you too stupid to understand? I can see now why you didn't read the thread, you're too dumb to understand it.

  • So annoyed I missed this been looking for a cheap G810 everywhere!

  • I am still in the market for a mech keyboard i can not decide what one to get but the g710 was on my list because of the media keys…

so guys that bought the g920 what is your set up like? i wanted to get a wheel but i am not sure how to work it with limited space? Unless i can use it on my WII U lol my computer monitor may be to small.

    • wheelstandpro if limiting space

    • I just clamp it to my desk when I'm playing; takes 30s. Also you should probably get a bigger monitor for racing sims.

  • -1

Hey does anyone have a copy of thier receipt for the g920? or a screen shot of the website or printout?
if so i would love a copy of it as my credit card has price matching if price drops or is cheaper elsewhere that way i can get teh discount :)

    • +1

what credit card are you using if you dont mind me asking?

      • Platinum MasterCard

  • Just set up the g920. Anyone else's steering wheel not smooth? Feels like there's grit stuck in the wheel components. Not what I was expecting. The paddles are great though.

  • New Prices are active.

    G710 = $99
    G910/G810 = $199

Still good prices but not crazy deals.
The G710 may still be worth it at that price.

    • Where you get this from: G910/G810 = $199 ???

  • If anyone bought the Logitech G810 and does not want it and wants to sell. Msg me plz.

    Im in melb

  • Ordered a G810 couple hours after it was listed on here, have yet to receive a cancellation email/refund? Any idea if they'll actually ship it out?

    • No idea about your situation, but I got an email on the same day with this coming from my nearest store:

"We have received your order for the Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum Mechanical Keyboard. Unfortunately due to high demand of the product during the sale we have run out of stock. I have made an order from the supplier for more, however they are not due to arrive until at least 09/03/16, meaning the product will not be delivered to until at least 11/03/16. We apologise for the delays and any inconvenience.

Should you have any further questions please reply to this email.

      Regards,"

    • I ordered as well, and apart from the initial confirmation, I've heard nothing.

      • Same here. No other confirmations except the one from paypal

        • +1

Yes only have the confirmation email with "Order Received" on it.

        • +1

          @thelute:

I had not heard anything either, so I contacted support today and after a couple minutes of checking they said the order had not transferred through to the store, so they contacted the store directly and I was able to go pick it up. (they refunded delivery but did offer to send it today if I wanted)

    • Just got an email saying mine has shipped. Didn't do anything on my end, so I assume everyone will get theirs.

  • Got an email from them saying its on back order and do not know when they will get stock. I will keep this email as it kinda serves as a confirmation that it wasn't a pricing error and since they took my payment I can lodge to NCAT for them to deliver the product or pay the difference for me to get it elsewhere.

  • Just got a call to tell me my 810 is in. It had to be ordered in. So happy it went through at that price.

    • Bit jealous, but congrats! Still haven't heard diddly squat on my end.

  • Anyone wanna guess how long until the next good deal for the g920/29 will be. Was considering the $350 from Dick Smith until I found this. Might be worth waiting for something similar to come back.

  • Just picked up my G810 today. Got an email yesterday saying it was ready for pickup. And to top it off, got The Division PC game code as well!

    • You did?! Didn't have a game code in mine :(

      • The game code didn't come in the box. It was a separate pamphlet with logitech G810 and harvey norman branding… it even had a price tag on it for $99.95??! The guy said i think this comes with the keyboard, and i quickly pointed out that it says it does on the front.

      • +1

Didn't get one with mine either.

        • I received my keyboard roughly 11 days ago but just got my key today so I'll run you through the process of how I got my key, obviously YMMV based on the people you're talking to:

          1) Facebook messaged Logitech who told me that anyone who bought the keyboard prior to the 8th of March is ineligible for the key (I think this is rubbish because their official promo page states "Beginning Feb. 8, 2016, the following products will be bundled with a full version of The Division, available at participating retailers, online stores or gaming.logitech.com:" )

They asked when I purchased the keyboard and from where and I replied Harvey Norman but kinda lied about purchase date. They didn't do shit but refer me to the logitech support helpline.

          2) Spoke to the Logitech rep over the phone who didn't even have an idea of what I was talking about, created a case file for me and got me to talk to HN instead.

          3) When you ordered, you most likely would've received an email from their Onlinehub telling you how they ran out of stock and that its on backorder. Look down from that email and call that number.

          4) Ask politely and tell them about the promo and they should be able to hook you up with a key.

    • I think you got lucky, and I'm jealous. I picked up mine today and asked about the promo pointing out the website where it lists Harvey Norman as a partner for Division combo. He mentioned the game was not released yet in Aus when this $119 G810 deal was active, when it was changed back to $2xx he said the Division promo went active.

  • Its real boyZzzz just got my tracking number lol sweeeet hope it comes with division code but cant complain!!

    • Got mine today and it does comes with THE DIVISION game code.
