    • yea man its not bad at all, called a few other store like eb and bigw, refused to price match since below cost. LOL

      • +1

Also free C&C on both, free delivery on the XB1 version. I'd probably order online to guarantee you get one :)

        • HAHA nice, why not order the heavy rain bundle as well Only $44

        • +1

          @Fengj8:

No one will regret this purchase.

    • damn xb, why are you more expensive

      • +1

        Comes with Vegas 1 and 2 :)

        • ahuh,

  • isn't this a relatively new game? that is super cheap for a next gen console game? Target here I come… THANKS OP!

    • True that, I didnt really wanted to get the game before i saw the deal. But that price.. man..

      • the game got a good rap on GoodGame recently!! @ $24 for the PS4 version, it makes it worthwhile, thats for sure! if not, I reckon EB or a game trader shop will buy it back for around the same price or more! haha….

        • HAHA true that, The EB rep told me theres no way he can match that. Way below his cost price LOL. Gonna start a business selling target games to EB

        • +1

Sadly, trade value is only $15 @ EB.

        • @Crusader: Trade value at JB is $30-35. That might change once they catch wind of this deal though.

    • yeh fairly new ….just a heads up the single player is pretty terrible the online though is worth it alone it's great fun

  • +12

There is going to be a spike of Aussies online tomorrow night playing this! (I would say tonight but usually you need to download over 20GB of "Application Data" before you can play and, well, Australian internet.)

  • +2

one of the best games out there… contender for FPS game of year (IF the servers/matchmaking worked properly and without all the damn bugs)

I've been playing FPS games for 20+ years, and I love this game, especially when in a squad with 4 mates using chat. this game is second to none on consoles.

    must buy.

    • +1

which platform do you play on?

      • PS4

        • Nice, lots of players?

        • @Fengj8:
enough to get casual games every 1 minute. ranked matches may take a bit longer. 2-3 minutes depending on your level

        • @sbm888: Not Bad~ Needs some friends to play with, lol anyone ?

        • @Fengj8: I'm down!

        • @eltito: Nice whats your ID, ill add you

        • +1

@Fengj8: I'll get back to you tonight, I actually forgot =(, I have two log ins (AUS and US ID) I always forget which id is the one I use

        • @eltito: aight, let me know

        • @Fengj8: Didn't buy the game =(, didn't have time

  • whats wrong with the game if its so cheap?

    • I believe there's no single player mode as in a story.

      • +1

same as star wars game then..

        • +2

Except it has much better gameplay (imo), and you can actually get into games quite easily - even though it also doesn't have a server browser.

        • Yep, but this at least gives you 11 missions (called situations) to play in single player mode to teach you the mechanics of the game.

    • +1

Nothing wrong with it, just Target selling it for cheap for whatever reason. It's still full price just about everywhere else.

I play on PC, great game even without a single play campaign (you can still do terrorist hunt solo/co-op ,and 10 single player "situations").

Don't buy this if you are expecting a massive story, this is about the gameplay.

      • I am very tempted to get this BUT it seems like a PC game, so I have been holding off to buy it on PC, can anyone comment on FPS gamepley PC vs Console for this game specifically?

        • +1

I can't comment personally as I only play on PC, however most people in the Whirlpool thread that play on consoles seem to be pretty happy with it.

The rounds are also quite short (3 or so 4 minute rounds per match), which makes it a pretty good game to just jump in and play which I would think suits consoles.

For me I think all FPS games would be better on PC, but I suck with a controller as I don't do consoles at all. If you have played other FPS games on consoles and are happy with them, I don't see why this would be any different.

        • @Sheez: I'm like you, if the controller has auto aim on console then it's not real skill, if it doesn't, I can't get a headshot because its too hard with joysticks, with a mouse, no worries, think I'll spend the extra $20 and get it on PC when I'm ready, but this is one hell of a deal!

  • +1

Can't say no to this price. Thanks OP

  • for some reason i thought this was Division but did they drop this price cos that game is coming out soon? also theres no single player for this right?

    • No single player "campaign", you can play terrorist hunt solo though, or co-op. The main mode is the PvP which is actually pretty addictive, I originally purchased the game for the co-op terrorist end, but end up playing PvP almost exclusively.

There is actually a series of 10 short "situations" that have cutscenes and a very, very loose story, that are single player only.

      • thanks i just bought it anyway,only $24

  • so is xbox one instore $24 as well or just $39 only? Or is your description only referencing ps4?

    • Didnt check the Xbox version

      • Xbox is $39 instore as well as it has rainbow 6 Vegas 1 and 2

  • It's only been a few months and theyre selling it for less than half the price!? Very tempting, but i cant bear fps games on my ps4, otherwise is definitely be on this

    • +1

Just get it, its so cheap. We can play together lol

  • +1

WOW! so cheap.. too bad I dont have a ps4 online pass :(

    • yeh same here, I think some people forget you need to play online with PS4 :/

  • +1

    thanks OP. bought one.
    Any deals on a PS4? :)

  • +1

Out of stock on website now for ps4

    • +1

No stock in store at my local (Shepparton). Probably for the best as I have that condition where I buy a lot of games and never play them…

  • +1

I think I'm finally over the FPS genre. I know this is well reviewed and very cheap yet I still don't want it.

    • its really really not your typical FPS more of a arcade game then anything

      • +1

Arcade? I heard it was a tactical FPS that you simply had to pay with a team. Kinda thing I used to love in FPS genre rather than lone wolf BS.

        • +1

what you said is pretty much what it is but the fact that you can board up a window - break it down and climb back in and do the same again is what makes it a game as such assuming you are on the defending team

  • +3

Would have bought if XB1 was $24 as well

  • FYI - At least 10 in stock on PS4 at the Glen Waverley (Vic) store

  • Gosh, two guys bought 4 each and one guy bought 7 on target ebay.

    • +3

      EB stock buyers :P lol

      • Should have bought all of them, Sell slowly on ebay

        • +4

With eBay fees and postage, they will be making $5-$10 profit. What's the point?

        • +1

@justmiike: Have to laugh at the greedy people who bought CODAW for $10 in the Big W sale and couldn't even sell their copies at $20. Meanwhile I couldn't even find it in stock in the three stores I visited.

        • +1

@nubzy: same goes for the large number of people who pre-ordered the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Collectible package and were trying to offload them for $300-400 :)

        • +1

@nubzy: where can I get aw for $20?

  • +1

Anyone know where i can get this game at a decent price on pc??

  • +2

No store stock Wollongong, Warrawong or Shellharbour (NSW)

    • Someone needs to call all the store to check stock.

      • Even better would be Target gets Electronic Inventory. One call…

        • Thats too much to hope for haha

  • +1

Called Target Brisbane CBD and they were nice enough to put a copy on hold for me till this afternoon.

  • Great deal - cheers OP!

  • +1

Just got one from Target in Forest Hill, VIC. One copy left.

  • What's with the freaking discrepancy

  • Anyone been to Target Tuggerah?

  • Thanks OP, got my GF to pick up two PS4 copies for me in-between work. Oh yeahhh.

Sucks for Xbox One owners that it's $39, though.

  • God thought i was doing ok a few weeks back when they had 20% off now they drop it $20 less i so hate that.

  • Cant see the ps4 price?

    Must of missed out :(

  • 9 copies left at The Glen (Glen Waverley VIC). Hope people have the self-control to nor clear it out for resale :/

    • nope, called them and sold out

      • +1

actually there was one PS4 copy left about 30min ago, someone hid it behind minecraft… I was looking for it on XB1 so the PS4 copy is still there, though I'm guessing it'll be gone by closing time
